Great Location and Host

The host was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The location was excellent, very close to the S.M.N. train station and the important tourist sites. I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend.

Walk to everything

This property had a lot of space, clean and well equipped. It was within walking distance of everything with a nearby store right around the corner. I would come here again and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful property in a quiet area

We had a great stay in Florence. The apartment was wonderful and very spacious. It’s in a quiet area of Florence which is so nice to get away from the crowds and feel more local. Everything is in walking distance. Check in was very easy and Elly was great. She’s very helpful and gave great suggestions for sights and food. The apartment has everything you would need even a washer. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely apartment in Oltrarno

We loved it. A few years ago we stayed in a much busier area but wanted a more peaceful place for our second visit to Florence. This flat was perfect, quiet with a balcony to sit on outside. We had enormous amounts of space, although we actually spent most of our time in the kitchen or outside on the balcony. We were close to everything we wanted to do this time, including the Boboli garden and the excellent choice of restaurants in Piazza Santo Spirito (which also has a market on Sundays). Special praise fo Tamero, restaurant. Everything in the flat worked including the washing machine and we could dry our clothes outside. The kitchen worked, and had a full range of implements. The bathroom is a little odd as it's laid out as a corridor, with the toilet at the end, and several little steps (you get used to them). We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Excellent Location Quiet Street

First of all, I should have remembered from my high school French calls that the first floor means the second floor for us Americans. This means a flight and a half of stairs with heavy suitcases. I wish they mentioned the number of steps in the apartment description. The location was perfect. Close to our favorite restaurants, Il Latini and Trattoria la Casalinga. Two bridges over from Ponte Vecchio. It's on a small one-way street so the Uber van we got had a difficult time picking us up. Schedule your transportation ahead of time as we had a hard time finding a taxi and barely made our train. The house is nicely appointed with a full kitchen which we never used. The main bedroom had AC and was nice and bright. The second bedroom had only a skylight for natural light. The AC in the living room serviced the second bedroom and the rest of the apartment. We made use of the patio which was up a short flight of steps. The bathroom had very good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The shower was a good size for Europe. The toilet had very little space in front but was fine.

OK Unterkunft

Die Wohnung ist speziell und schräg, dabei gut ausgestattet und gut gelegen. Die Übergabe war extrem hektisch und komplett charmfrei. Vorab Fragen zum parken zB wurden nicht beantwortet.

I’m a bit surprised about this review. It was almost impossible to get in contact with the guest because of the incorrect phone number included in the reservation. We tried to send several emails without luck, at the end the guest contacted us the same day of the reservation. Another big barrier was the language. Unfortunately we do not speak German.

Perfekte Lage, perfekte Wohnung

Im Viertel Santo Spirito, am Oltrarno, stauen sich die Massen nicht. Hier lebt man ruhiger, aber ganz nah an tollen Bars, Cafes und Restaurants. Auch ist man zu Fuß in 1/4 bis höchstens 1/2 Stunde an allen Orten, die man sich so ansehen mag in Florenz. Besser gehts nicht. Die Wohnung isr geräumig, freundlich, sauber und mit allem eingerichtet, was man sich wünschen kann. Hier hätten wir es gerne noch viel länger ausgehalten!

Wonderful apartment in the great location.

Beautiful spacious and clean apartment in the great location close to all the attractions. We walked everywhere. Nice restaurants in the neighborhood. No problems with contacting and communicating with the host.

Spacious apartment

Lovely spacious apartment, immaculately clean, and better than the photos portray! Located a 15 minute walk from the train station, and within walking distance of all the main attractions, with a supermarket 2 minutes away. Check in was friendly and flexible, with lots of helpful information provided by Eleonara on where to eat and what to see during a short break in Florence.

Great Apartment in Great but Quiet Area

Beautiful, well furnished apartment. Walking distance to major sites. Grocery and restaurants nearby. Check in was easy as manager speaks fluent English. AC and washing machine were nice bonuses. Photos are accurate. Book and enjoy!

Gepflegtes und geräumiges Appartement in sehr guter Lage

Meine fünfköpfige Familie (drei erwachsene Kinder) verbrachte die Woche vor Ostern in Florenz. Zur Wohnung: Lage: in ruhiger Seitenstraße, sehr zentral südlich des Ponte alla Carraia, zum Dom 15 Gehminuten, zum Palazzo Pitti 5 Gehminuten. Sehr geräumiges Appartement mit toller Ausstattung: Küche mit Gasherd, Mikrowelle und Spülmaschine; Bad mit zwei Waschbecken, Dusche und Waschmaschine, kleine Dachterrasse Kontakt mit Vermieter: Eleonora und Francesco antworteten absolut prompt auf meine Nachrichten. Sehr netter Kontakt, Eleonora gab uns auch am ersten Tag ein paar Insidertipps. Das Appartement und die Gastgeber kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Ich würde dieses Appartement jederzeit wieder buchen.

Careful attention to detail

The place is spacious and lovely...water was hot... appliances in good order...great kitchen...wonderfully clean....for an older person (we are both over 75) the 29 marble steps leading up to the unit may be tiring after a long day galavanting through the richness of Florence. It is important to consider getting your suitcases up and down those steps... However, I doubt that those steps would prove daunting for younger people. And it definitely IS a beautiful and quiet unit!

sehr gute Lage um Florenz zu erkunden, Vermieter äußert zuvorkommend ,was den Termin des Check in und out anbelangt, unkompliziert und mit guten Tipps für die Stadterkundung, ruhige Lage inmitten der schönen Stadt Florenz, wir würden gerne wieder kommen und können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen

2 bedroom apartment in great location

We had a very friendly welcome and introduction to the area with great recommendations. The apartment is in a lovely old building up a steep flight of stairs accessed from a narrow side street with currently lots of roadworks. A taxi ride from the station. It was lovely to be in a quiet area across the Arno away from the crowds but amongst the locals and yet handy for the main sights. Several good restaurants, bars , a supermarket and bakery close by. Well equipped kitchen but small (narrow) bathroom where shelves are only in a cupboard. The bedrooms lack mirrors, the only 1 is in the bathrooom, so inconvenient for 2 couples sharing. If you arrive after 8pm there is an extra charge. All in all we enjoyed our stay, would return and recommend it to others

Lovely flat with a very nice location

We loved our stay at Ponte Vecchio. It's a very spacious and comfortable flat. We really liked the location. It's not in the main tourist area but rather it's on the outskirts. So it's quiet but really easy to get to the sites. Also, there are some fantastic restaurants close by. We'd definitely stay there again.

Macht Lust auf Wiederholung...

Eine wunderbar geräumige und gepflegte Wohnung, in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und doch kaum 10 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt( was unseren eher fußfaulen Teenies sehr entgegenkam..) nach mehreren Florenzaufenthalten waren wir das erste Mal in "Oltrarno" und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Nicht nur wegen der tollen Lage mit Restaurants und Bars um die Ecke (die Küche bräuchte man gar nicht), auch die Betreuung durch Francesco und besonders Eleonora war großartig--- super nett, super organisiert, flexibel und immer ansprechbar. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Buen apartamento muy bien situado en zona tranquila

Espacioso apartamento en una zona tranquila y bonita (Barrio de artesanos), cerca del centro neurálgico y más turístico. Es amplio, limpio y con todos los servicios. Excelente trato por parte de Eleonora. Nos facilitó transfer de y para aeropuerto, así como el tema de guarda maletas. En definitiva una muy buena estancia.
