Welcome to The Tidal Shack - A stunningly refurbished (2022) cottage - really close to The Bay Filey holiday village centre - metres from the pub yet quiet and with a large garden and patio and access to the Cleveland Way this is an ideal choice for a family escape!

Enter into a spacious hallway (with WC off), with space for your coats and shoes. Ahead to the left is a large kitchen diner / lounge with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break.

The large lounge area is beautifully decorated with views of the garden and stunning widescreen SMART TV. French doors lead to the patio

There is an excellent dining space in the kitchen, with extended dining table seating 6 and a large kitchen with all the appliances and supplies you need for a self catering break.

Free unlimited fast wifi throughout.

Upstairs, you will find two double bedrooms with the master having a shower room ensuite as well as a twin room off the landing. There is also a very spacious family bathroom with bath and shower over.

The Tidal Shack is a large holiday home and is ideal for a large family holiday!

Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Great house. Ideal for two couples.

Comfortable house with large lounge area and smart TV; well equipped kitchen; two bathrooms plus downstairs toilet; three bedrooms; good storage; WiFi throughout; parking nearby; clean and well maintained property; great location for Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough and good onsite facilities. We would stay here again when returning to the area.

Great place to stay.

The Tidal Shack is a great place to stay when visiting the East Coast, the property is spacious and very comfortable, it's very clean and is kitted out with every thing you need either for just a weekend away, or a two week holiday. I would defiantly recommend staying here, I know we will be staying again.

Four night family getaway

Family of four. This is a lovely, well maintained property, which was spotless on arrival. The living area is very spacious and comfortable, with the kitchen having everything you could possibly need. A particular bonus (with two teenage daughters) was two bathrooms (one en suite) meaning three toilets! There are three bedrooms meaning everyone can have there own space if needed. Located on a perfect central location near the facilities (although we didn't use them or the leisure pass we'd been left). Would happily recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.

Simply lovely!

We have been coming to The Bay for several years and for the last two have stayed at The Tidal Shack, booking through Anchor Bay Holidays whose customer service is second to none. The cottage is simply lovely, a real home from home, and we now always try to see if it is available for our next visit.

Fabulous stay at the Tidal Shack

Lovely holiday home with everything we needed. Great location near all the amenities. Had a great meal at the pub although a little expensive. Would definitely recommend to others .

A lovely few days away

We had a lovely stay at The Tidal Shack, the home was spacious and tidy, perfect for our family of 5. The home had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, great WiFi and tv services. Will definitely be back again!

A lovely cottage

This cottage is so spacious and comfortable. Tastefully decorated and would definitely recommend. The 2 minor things it needs is a door mat on entry and a new can opener.

Great Holiday

We had a fantastic stay in the Tidal Shack, The Bay. It was lovely, clean , spacious and had everything we needed . Just a short walk to the pub , shop , swimming pool and other amenities. Also a nice walk to the beach and a park for the children . We would definitely return .

Excellent Seaside Holiday

House was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our family. It was close to the amenities but remained quiet and peaceful. We loved the walk through the woods to the beach cafe, and enjoyed many hours on the beach. Owners were quick to respond to any queries. We would be happy to return or to book again.

Almost perfect

The property is very clean (although the oven could do with a good scrub) comfortable, well equipped and ideally situated. A short but steep walk to the beach, a short drive to a decent sized supermarket in Filey, and only 10 miles from Bridlington. I'd recommend a visit to Sewerby Hall and Bondville Model Village which are next door to each other on the outskirts of Bridlington. My only slight niggle is being provided with white towels but being told that they are not to be used to remove make up. I appreciate that some guests might not be as mindful as they could be, but you might as well just ask guests to provide their own towels (which I did). This was our third visit and we will be back.

Practically Perfect

The Tidal Shack is situated close to the fabulous filey beach and makes a perfect base for visits to the many attractions of the Yorkshire coastline. The cottage is well presented, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We couldn't get the shower in the bathroom to work or the bedroom TV (possibly needs a new battery in the remote), but other than that it was a very nice place to spend a few days. It was our second visit and we hope to visit again next year.

Amazing place

We stayed for Easter school holidays and were pleased with the cost and the quality of the accommodation. It blew us away when we walked in. Beautiful and just like home. Kitchen utensils just like you would have at home, I can’t think of anything missing I would need to cook a meal. The washing machine is not a dryer also so beware as you cannot peg out so drying clothes could be an issue. The facilities were brilliant, best swimming pool we have been in on a holiday. Overall highly recommended.
