Enjoy a memorable vacation at a lovely waterfront chalet on a half acre wooded lot, secluded and tranquil among the trees, yet minutes from activities, designer outlets, tax-free shopping, hiking, sightseeing and more. We have 100 feet on the water with a natural, sandy, private beach, gradual no drop-offs and pristine, spring fed water. Walk off to the living room sliders to a 24 foot deck with gas grill, tables, and deck chairs. Walk off the deck onto your own private beach. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening meal, while enjoying the panoramic views of the mountains and reflection of the trees and setting sun on the lake; same breathtaking views from the house. Ideal area for hikers. The house has 3 good-size bedrooms, one and a half baths, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining room, and comfortable living space. Internet and WiFi.
We are unable to except the following breeds. Akita, American Stafford Terrier, Chow, Doberman Pincher,Pit Bull, Presa Canirao, Rottweiler or any wolf hybrid or any mix that includes any of the above.

Nice house with great view and private beach was nice right out rhe back door. Kitchen was nice just would have liked in between size bowls and maybe a cake or muffin tin. Overall super nice and great place to unwind.

We had the most beautiful four days. The water is clear and warm. The house was so comfortable. Feels very private. Great spot for looking for frogs along the shoreline. Sometimes you see a couple of little fish. If youā€™re looking for somewhere peaceful, this is the house for you. My only complaint is really a personal preference and thatā€™s only one tiny tv in the whole three bedroom house. The kitchen had every utensil, cookware, spice, etc that you need. I am glad I read ahead and knew to bring linens for the beds. I did try to get the washer to work but was unable, that may have been my own user error though. Overall this place is a 5/5 10/10 perfect getaway for me and my three kiddos.

Wonderful get away!

A wonderful week enjoying family. Beautiful chalet over looking the pond. All the amenities you can ask for. We enjoyed all the close by attractions in North Conway and along the Kancamagus.

Rustic seasonal cabin on the water

We've stayed at this property a few times. The lake front and privacy of the property is a huge draw. Being seasonal the property has a very rustic feel and requires early season maintenance that may not be up to renter satisfaction, ie mildew and animal odors. We still like the campy feel but unsure we'll return early in the season (June).

Rustic cabin

The view was great. It was quiet and is a terrific location for traveling the area for hiking and leaf viewing. The place is like a rustic lake cabin. Dont expect modern finishes or furniture. Clean overall but some carpet stains. Really think they should tell you on the listing that you have to provide your own sheets and towels. I happened to see someone mention it in a review and checked with the owner ahead of our stay. Would hate to arrive after long journey and not have them.

Very Disappointed

This is the 3rd year we rented from this owner. We were very satisfied the first 2 yrs but this year, not-so-much! I had to reach out to her the day before our arrival as I was given no info on the house. The night before we were leaving, I finally got a message with the rules and codes. This year there were changes to the policy that were implemented in January 2024. Although I paid in full in July of 2023 for the rental. She received the change policy in Jan 2024. The message the night before arrival was MUCH different than prior years. Apparently she did not feel it was important to give us a heads up in Jan or prior to July. on these changes. I was told NO fire pit and No kayaks due to the policy changes. Mind you SHE did not comply with the updates. She needed to do a permanent area for the pit and a permit. To me this was unacceptable the night before departure. We go there for all the "camping" experiences! I told her I was very disappointed in finding this out THE NIGHT BEFORE ARRIVAL!! Some family members backed out due to this and went tent camping instead. She then agreed to reimburse me one night since I was upset about the NO fire. I waited to do my review because I was hoping the owner would make good on her word with the reimbursement. My trip was July 20th and I HAVE NOT received a dime!!! I made contact with her several times at which point on Aug 7th I was told it is in the mail!! It is now Sept 6th.....

Family Get Away

Great place for peaceful retreat. The views of the pond and mountains were beautiful. The house is so well equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfort stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Excellent vacation

We were very happy with our stay. The house was perfect for us and the location could not have been better. It is located a short drive to North Conway which is what we wanted. There are many breweries and restaurants within a very easy drive. The only issue we were not thrilled with is you have to bring your own sheets and towels which we did not see mentioned in the original listing. Aside from this I highly recommend this home.

Summer Fun

Our group had 6 adults and a child under 2. We loved this property for its sandy little beach and itā€™s close proximity to all the state parks. The property had a sizeable yard where we could putt with our portable disc golf basket and still have room for our nephew to safely run around.

Fantastic!

I would like to start off by just saying how wonderful of a time my family and I had. Usually we try to get some sites in but, I didnā€™t even want to leave. The weather wasnā€™t the best but the time that we did get to spend outside was so much fun! I had a few older teenagers a )couple new graduates) and they really enjoyed the lake and nights by the fire ā™„ļø I also have a son who is 4 and has autism and this was is it! He absolutely enjoyed the outdoors and playing in and around the lake. Our furry friend I would say really enjoyed it as well! Thank you so much and also thanks for the use of the kayaks also an added plus!

A Memorial Day to Memorialize

It was such a great experience - we enjoyed kayaking, fishing, smores by the fire, games at the table, our drive up Mt. Washington, and a number of the local shops. The home was lovely, we slept well, and ate until we had our fill. We were fortunate in that the weather was phenomenal, but even if it weren't the scenery could not have been more idyllic, it's just beauty all around. The hosts were responsive, completely reasonable in their expectations, and refreshingly hands-off during our stay. Bottom line - we would love to book again.

Wonderful experience

Beautiful chalet right on the water. The main stretch in North Conway is less than 20 minutes away. My family and our dogs had a wonderful time, Roberta was a fantastic communicator and kept us up to date on all info related to our trip.

Unforgettable experience

We truly enjoyed the private lake access, the kayaks, fire pit, and grill. The weather was perfect the entire time we stayed and we had many meals outside while enjoying the view. Our kids couldnā€™t have enough of the lake. We had a slight Wi-Fi problem but our host was responsive.

Perfect setting for a quiet, restful, peaceful getaway. Plenty of adventures close by. We enjoyed some spectacular sunsets and lots of swimming. It was nice to have the kayaks, too. The kitchen was well equipped with new appliances with plenty of kitchen and grill utensils. Great internet connection for an online course that my husband attended during our stay. We had a wonderful vacation.
