Mountainside Resort has issued a do-not-drink water mandate due to high PFAS levels. Water is also available at the Mountainside office and pool area. Additionally, the owner has provided drinkable water in the unit.Water should only be used in instances where it is not being consumed.

This spacious ski resort home invites you to forget your cares in the shared hot tub, the shared pool, or the shared sauna. Tennis courts and on-site skiing also await you during your stay. Venture across the grounds to the resort's fitness center and get your workout in.

Three TVs, cable, and free WiFi meet your group's entertainment needs, while partial air-conditioning ensures everyone stays cool during summer visits. The home has a dishwasher in the full kitchen.

Winter visitors flock to Vermont's Green Mountains for the area's reputation as the 'Ski Capital of the East.' Mountainside Resort at Stowe offers proximity to the area's ski slopes, barbecue dining, a kids' playground, and more. A few blocks' walk takes you to local restaurants like Piecasso and Ildetyme Brewing Company. Pinnacle Ski and Sports, just over a mile down the road, rents bikes and other gear for your summer pursuits.

Rooms were very spacious. Location was Amazing. enjoyed the pool/hot tub. Furniture was very worn and some broken. Wifi signal was so weak, could not even download e-mail. Used hotspot on phone. Could have used some bigger coffee cups/mugs - the ones there were about 4 oz size. We bought paper cups with lids and used those.

Fantastic ski vacation location

Great location just minutes from Stowe ski mountain resort and tons of local shops! Kids loved the pool and hot tub.

Nice ski condo

This ski condo is in a great location, close to the ski mountain. It was a nice place for our family to stay with another family for a long weekend. The microwave didn't work when when we were there, but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Great Location

last minute trip to take my adult children skiing. Location was great, short drive to resort. Listing was accurate. Bummer that the fireplace was out of commission, but not the end of the world. Great place and already thinking of next year.

Nice for families

Layout with the upstairs and downstairs areas works well for our family. Toaster noted in March review is still broke, some of the blinds still don't close and the upstairs couch that was noted as having a broke arm has disappeared, leaving only a loveseat and a couple chairs upstairs to seat six people. A little bit of work and attention to the details would go a long way to making this a great spot.

Cozy but dated

Great location for skiing Stowe - itā€™s at the upper end of town so close to everything (across the street from the Alchemist!) but you donā€™t have to drive thru town on the way to the slopes (about 10 min drive if no traffic) The condo is large and comfortable, has not been updated since 1980s. Fireplace still not working, as mentioned in other reviews.

Water Leak

There was a water leak in this condo and we had to be moved. So we didnā€™t stay there. Vacasa was good about accommodating us. Loved the condo they put us in but there is an issue between The Mountainside Resort and Vacasa with giving out the combo to the pool. That should be worked out.

Stowe stay

The place APPEARED great, but I would not recommend this place for the following reasons: heat did not work on the first floor and no communication was given regarding this, sofa beds are as uncomfortable as you would expect. Sheets were not provided for the sofa beds despite us booking for 10 people. Took hours to get a set delivered (on the second night) and they did not deliver what we asked for. There were also no extra blankets and the bath towels were tiny. Overpriced for what this place gives. Also, pools/hot tub on the property close at 9pm.

Nye ski weekend

Location was great. Rental was clean, provided basic things such as dish detergent, sponge, trash bags, etc which was nice. Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. Pull out couch not comfortable, could use some updated furniture, however it reflects the photos on the listing. Shuttle pick up location to Stowe mountain not very convenient, we ended up driving each day. Fireplaces are not functioning, washer/dryer smelled a little. Overall good experience, would stay here again.

Area was great. The place was definitely outdated but it worked fine for what we needed. We called a day ahead to add 1 day to our stay- property manager said everything was fine and ready but never sent the check in instructions. We arrived late in the evening with no way to access the place- they worked it out but took quite a while. Also- better communication is needed somewhere on pool hours and how/ when you can access the pool.

It was a nice location with plenty of room for my family. However it was very outdated and disappointing. Kitchen was very dated with a broken drawer. Dishwasher had an out of order sign on it. Blinds throughout the unit were broken in spots and had stains splattered on them. Mattress on king size bed was old and uncomfortable. Community pool had dark mildew on the sides. We would not stay here again.

The location of the condo was great - close to the ski resort and easy to get to. The pool and hot tub were a hit for the kids. The condo is definitely used and rented a lot. Itā€™s outdated and could use some new furnishings. The couch had a broken arm. The bathtub in the Queen bedroom was clogged - so we had to purchase drano to fix. The burners on the stove didnā€™t all work - my husband fixed those so we could use. We found dirty dishes/pots/pans in the cabinets. We loved Vermont and plan to return though!

The property that wouldnā€™t

Complete and total run around. Talk with people that donā€™t have any authority to do anything, or if they do have the authority, they do nothing. The fireplaces did not operate, and the hot tub did not work. Windows and patio doors did my open. TVs did not operate. Extremely dissatisfied, disappointed .

Arctic weekend stay with no working fireplace

We rented the property in hopes of skiing. The extreme arctic temps kept us inside one of the days. The property is listed with having 2 fireplaces, both of which were out of order which was extremely unfortunate. The kitchen sink backed up when we ran the dishwasher. We did not contact the management company as we were leaving. Two of the electric burners on the range were not working. The bath towels provided were extremely cheap. Mattress in the queen bedroom was extremely old, with a huge sag in the middle. Would not stay here again

Winter vacation

Winter break 2 adults with 5 teenagers. The condo was very clean with plenty of room. My husband and I took the master bedroom downstairs and the rest of the family stayed upstairs, which was like they had there own apartment. The furniture could be updated, ramdom chairs in the livingroom one chair was broken falling apart. Both fireplaces not working. I had seen a review from back in January 2024. Which stated that the fireplaces were not working. I called Vaccasa the managing company a few days before our stay to make sure they could service the fireplaces, they told me that looking at the most recent review and that they had not complained about the fireplaces that would mean they are fine. Guess what still broken! The pool and jacuzzi were great. Pool was heated and after a long day sking the jacuzzi was perfect. Close to evertthing, Stowe village, sking.
