The location itself is right where you want to be. Only a five minute walk from the beach and two minutes from 5th Ave. We were happily surprised almost everywhere we had decided we wanted to eat at before coming was only a few minutes walk away.

Not all penthouses can be 'on' the beach and our beautiful Arena Blanca penthouse is the best off beach penthouse in Playa del Carmen! And just a flip-flop (4 minutes) away from the white sands of the Caribbean.

Picking the right condo from a website can be difficult, so you will pat yourself on the back when you see these beautiful condos at Arena Blanca. When you pull up to the hand-wrought iron gates, you'll know you have arrived! Classic Spanish architecture, thoughtful space-planning, and tasteful interior design make this one of the classiest condos in Playa del Carmen.

The penthouse is tastefully decorated with a focus on natural materials making it warm and elegant. Marble floors, mahogany cabinets, and beautiful furnishings abound.

The master bedroom suite features a brick boveda ceiling and a queen-sized wicker bed. The large master bathroom features double sinks, a huge rainwater shower and marble galore.

The guest room has a king-sized bed with a private full bathroom. To provide extra sleeping space, we've added a sleeping loft with a queen-sized bed.

The large rooftop terrace, overlooks the island of Cozumel, the city of Playa del Carmen and the Caribbean Sea... perfect for sunning, drinking, dining, and lounging. It features a huge jacuzzi, dining and lounge area! Check our personal website for more photos, listed below. Revive your love of life or your love life, or both!

Arena Blanca is perfectly situated in the newer North End of Playa on Fifth Ave & Via 38th, an upscale neighborhood with excellent restaurants (including Amate 38 & La Cueva del Chango), and a few minute walk to the shops and restaurants of 'Little Italy' on Fifth Avenue. We are centrally located without being smack dab in the touristy (noisy) downtown.

And the beaches?! Arena Blanca is a 4 minute walk to the famous Coco and Mamitas Beaches. Tall, tan, young, and handsome, you'll find the most beautiful beach-goers in the Mayan Riviera here.

And for the windy days away from the beach, enjoy our beautiful large pool with lounge chairs and a shady island palapa... a perfect place to stay cool especially with a margarita in hand!

Arena Blanca has full-time management and staff; our motto is Clean & Green. You will see the difference. And our prices include bottled water and wireless internet.

Fabulous and extraordinary!A great property off 38th, between 5th business and 10th. I don't think there's a better scenario. The grounds are serene and peaceful despite the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen. Its July and the heat is on but this unit will be so cool and physically appealing that you won't get anywhere else. The place is huge enough for 2 couples or a family. There's a terrace accessible from stairs off the kitchen. The property staff is very efficient and supportive to ones need. The host gave all the tools necessary to access the property. In this world nothing is perfect but this place is paradise. I will be back. Everything is in walking distance...coffee shops, grocery.store, 711 and more. Thank tou Judi, Juan and Santos

Amazing Property and Location

We have used VRBO for vacation spots for many years. I have to say this was one of the best experiences we have had to date. Communication with Judy the owner and Juan the Property Manager exceeded expectations. The condo is extremely large and comfortable offering areas to get outside and enjoy the street views as well as get a glimpse of the ocean from top of the penthouse. We felt very safe and secure at all times and the location really allowed us to feel immersed in beautiful Play Del Carmen. We look forward to returning to this unique property and location again!!

Amazing penthouse in perfect location

If you are looking for an amazing apartment in Playa with the best location, look no further. Judith’s penthouse was exactly what we needed for our getaway. No need to rent a car, we literally walked everywhere. Restaurants, grocery stores and beach clubs all within a few steps. The penthouse itself was just beautiful… impeccably clean, and the beds were so comfortable. Communication with the house manager, Juan, was easy and he helped us out with our transfers to and from the airport. Stop looking and book this place!

Amazing Luxury Condo!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this penthouse condo. It combines the comfort of a home with the luxury vibe of an upscale resort. The condo itself is huge. The rooms are all spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and very easy to use and there is a fully stocked, upscale grocery store a short walk from the condo for those who want to cook some meals at home. The bathrooms are gorgeous. I loved the fact that there were multiple comfortable lounging spots in the living room. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were a very nice quality. There were plenty of towels both regular and pool. The upstairs lounge area was amazing! It has a huge covered patio area with a giant lounging couch. It was the perfect spot to hang out in early in the morning while my family was still sleeping. And the roof top plunge pool was the best! It was such a luxury to go up there and soak and appreciate the amazing view. The complex itself is beautiful and very secure. It is just steps away from the action of 5th Ave but it is still very quiet and serene. All the staff we met were so helpful and polite. Judy was a very helpful and gracious host. Here recommendations were spot on. And her check in process was easy breezy. We have stayed at VRBO units all over the world and this in probably our favorite. Staying here made our vacation so perfect. My husband is already talking about when we should go back.

We really enjoyed our time. When we needed a couple of things Juan was there and took care of it right away. Very easy to book and check in. Close to everything. Loved it!

Ideal location, space and fabulous appointments!

This was a girls getaway for five days in Playa del Carmen. We are picky and well traveled. This penthouse is very spacious, with a feeling of openness enhanced by the tall coffered ceilings. The location was absolutely ideal, just off 5th Avenue, the main drag, and walking distance to absolutely everything, tons of restaurants, and the beach. Judy was extremely helpful, and when one principal air conditioning unit went out, her maintenance guy took care of it within hours. She had instructions in the condo with great recommendations. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. This would be a very comfortable condo for two couples…and the plunge pool on the rooftop is a sweet bonus. We will not hesitate to recommend this penthouse to our dearest friends, and we can’t wait to come back!

Exceeded our expectations!

The pictures on the website don't do this gorgeous condo justice. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable, and just perfectly situated in Playa del Carmen for an amazing vacation. Our host, Judy, was so helpful and the property manager, Juan, was the nicest and most accommodating person. Anything we needed help with was taken care of instantly. There are two beautiful bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped, the dining room and living room area were spacious and perfect for us. There are plenty of hangers for clothes, a great storage closet with drawers in one of the rooms, and a big closet (no drawers) in the second bedroom. The beds were so comfortable, there were plenty of comfortable pillows, and tons of bath and pool towels. The penthouse terrace was just lovely, and the roof plunge pool looked nice (we didn't use it though). The balcony has a great hammock and a table and chairs. On the hot and humid days the AC units cooled the condo down perfectly. It was so convenient to have a washer and dryer. I can't think of anything we needed that we didn't have. (We wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine and I couldn't find a corkscrew. A quick text to Judy and an even quicker response told us exactly which drawer it was in!) We can't wait to return and come back to the Arena Blanca. Thank you, Judy!

Beautiful penthouse

This is a beautiful place, checking in was extremely easy, everyone was very friendly and helpful. This location was perfect, restuarants and shopping close we walked everywhere. There was security at night. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return soon.

Fabulous!!!

Judy’s place is amazing and so is she! Great communication and the staff is wonderful and will help get whatever you need as well. Location is perfect and short walk to everything! Great restaurants, shops, stores. We literally spent most of our days at the penthouse on the rooftop in the private pool, which was perfect and so relaxing. We went for NYE, and the fireworks from up too were awesome! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Playa. Super nice and spacious place. Book it if you are undecided! You will be happy here, no doubt! Thanks for everything Judy and Juan!! :-)

Amazing penthouse with the perfect location!

Me and my wife have stayed at alot of properties in our travels across the globe, and this place did not disappoint one bit! The home is incredible with all of the luxors you require to make an incredible stay. The location was perfect, and within a 2-8 minute walk to anywhere you needed to be (beach, restaraunts, bars, etc.). The only slight negative that wasn't a real issue was not having the TVs with cable access turned on. There are several TVs but I'm not sure since we only stayed 1 night if they didn't grant us cable access to view any channels or if that is the norm. We didn't mind bc we weren't in the house too much anyways (either on the terrace or plunge pool, or out), but if you have kids it might be a slight consideration.

Great place. However, desperately needs curtains! Impossible to sleep in. We had to hang towels to keep the light out and ensure privacy. Other than that, awesome place.

Absolutely Stunning! Gorgeous, private, massive patio! Lovely grounds with a fabulous pool!

This small (11 units), quiet condo building is very well run, super clean with amazing, attentive staff. The location could not have been better, steps to wonderful, local restaurants and if you're into crazy shopping, one minute from the famous 5th Ave. Three minute walk to the fantastic beach, where you can walk for hours. Three choices of large grocery stores with a 20 minute walk or a 50-100 peso taxi. Keep in mind you are in the middle of all the action but not necessarily all the noise off 5th Ave. This beautiful penthouse suite is very well appointed. The two large bedrooms have separate full bathrooms and are on opposite sides of the unit offering privacy. The kitchen is central and well stocked. You have two choices for outdoor seating.....the front veranda overlooks the pool and all the excitement of 10th Ave and 38th St. We had our morning coffee/tea there and watched with amazement the commuters, taxis, motorcycles etc maneuver their way around the 2 stop intersection (apparently the stop signs are only a suggestion!). In the afternoon we climbed the stairs up to the huge, fantastic veranda, where there is a shaded area to read and sunny area to eat. It is so quiet and peaceful there....we loved it! If you've never been to Playa you must! The locals are so friendly and lovely. The restaurants tremendous. It's a very safe area with loads of young families. This is really the perfect spot. And we would be remiss if we didn't mention how much we appreciated Judy's assistance in everything!! She is truly amazing. Also, Nadia the property manager is wonderful. All in all our three weeks could not have been better. We will be back! Randy & Bev Ottawa Canada

Spacious, great modern kitchen, great location, easy in and out, responsive host

Stayed for 10 nights. The photos don’t do justice to this beautiful multi level penthouse unit. Very usable kitchen. Plenty of linens and towels. Extremely walkable to local supermarkets, beaches and bustling 5th Avenue, yet far enough away from the nightlife noise. This would be a terrific unit for families. The upstairs outdoor living space is very relaxing. The owner and property manager were very responsive without being intrusive.

Perfect stay!

Our family vacationed at beautiful Arena Blanca and we all had a wonderful time. It was so nice to relax on the second floor outdoor patio or sit in the rooftop pool. We even had two of our daughters sleep outside on the lounge bed, loving every minute! Everything that we needed was right there in our condo and I could see just spending the entire time there, but it is so close to great restaurants, coffee shops and the beach too. We felt very safe walking during the day and the evening, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Everything went very smoothly and their staff were all kind and helpful too. I would not hesitate to recommend Arena Blanca for a wonderful and relaxing vacation destination!

perfect location to the b...

perfect location to the beach for the price, close to the best restaurant in town... cueva de la chango! very kid friendly and quiet! the sound between condos and within the complex is almost non-existant! i hope the rest of the guests felt the same way the night our baby had a 101 temp! there was a storm the third day we were there and then there was no more wireless, i thought it was out all over, but it was only at the Arena Blanca, this slowed down some of the work we were juggling while we were there. The pool and the grounds were meticulously clean and very well kept. We had an awesome time, and we cannot wait to come back. we will definitely check first with arena blanca! My friends who were staying at the meridian decided that next time we are going to split the Arena Blanca pent house...
