Seidls 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch style home on Mumm’s Bay

This is a rambling, 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch style home on Mumm’s Bay on Lake Namakagon. It is perched only feet from the lakeshore The screened porch offers another place for you to enjoy the lake breezes.
This home is an older home and great for fishing groups with a private dock.
The interior extends from the lakeside living room with its row of windows, satellite TV and wood burning fireplace; to the master bedroom and bath with a walkout patio door to the lake and to 2 more bedrooms.
This is a rustic rental home on a great part of the lake.

*We have been working with the Department of Health and have new cleaning standards and procedures for all our Beds. On each bed we will provide sheets, pillow and pillow case and blankets. You will need to bring your own towels and any soaps.

** Please note parking is limited **

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay, location was spectacular, rooms were need and clean, very spacious, utilized the screened in patio every evening.

Peaceful stay with wonderful access to Lake Namegagon

Perfect location with a fabulous view and access to Lake Namekagon. Having a pontoon with the rental was extremely convenient!

It's a great place. I wish they'd clean up the spider webs inside. And make sure all lights are working (none of the outside lights worked except the front one). This is the second time we've stayed here and I wish they would fix the stairs to the dock. And clean up the weeds by the water. It could be an amazing beach.

Location is good, view is amazing, but this property is in need of serious repair. If you’re a fisherman, hunter, snowmobiler, you may be just fine here. If you just want a roof over your head and to warm up, go for it. The host is aware of the issues, so maybe they have addressed the disrepair this home is in. Good luck!

Great spot - Just needs someTLC

The house could definitely use a few minor upgrades, but the view and location are amazing! Had a real good time!

What a location! Your own private Dock and the boat launch 1.6 miles away. Large driveway across the road to park your truck and trailer. Beds were very comfortable and the view was amazing. I shouldn’t talk it up so much or it may not be available next time…lol.

Great place to stay

Property was clean but is definitely not "new" and could use some work but overall, we were very impressed. Be sure to bring water for the coffee pot and for drinking - the water here is VERY hard and even the coffee tasted bad. The photos do not include the extra bedroom in the back with a full bed and we were pleased - especially my boys as they did not have to share a bedroom. The master bedroom has a private bath and the bed faces a patio door that looks over the lake - it was nice hearing the loons every evening. Loved our stay!

Very reasonable with sleeping accommodations for many if you choose. The lake front is wonderful along with the sunsets and nice beach for swimming. Extended Weekend Up North

The description and the reviews of the property let us know in advance that the cabin could use some updates and/or was not a brand new 5 star cabin. However, the cabin was clean. The communications were good. The water was yellow and had a strong smell, but we were assured it is frequently tested and safe. We loved the screen room and honestly did not have any issues or concerns. We were able to work remote and we slept well.

Lots of useful things there, but most in bad shape. would be nice to have at least one nice kettle and fry pan and cookie sheet. Things in bad shape, water stinks, there is a water softner not hooked up, need to get better quality water, so glad I brought water for cooking, etc. I really liked this place but needs work. steps by dock leaning downward, had to be very careful not t fall

To wake up with the sun rising and hearing the waves of water hit the shore rocks was an experience non forgettable. To walk out on the pier and see the beauty of nature was a gift itself. July 4th visit at Siedls on Mumms Bay, Lake Namakagon 2022

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd visit to beautiful Lake Namakagon on Mumms Bay. Would we come back? Definitely! The house was very clean with the amenities one would expect. Staying in the bay with sandy water and beautiful sunsets was perfect. Hwy D was very close but, it is all about the water. The only negative was the lack of upkeep on the outer cabin in such a jem.

The management company was very responsive and professional and we rate them highly. The cottage itself is in disrepair and the living room furniture grungy. The staff took care of some minor repairs in a timely way. Water access was difficult due to broken steps and lack of ladder off the dock. The owners need to invest some funds in maintenance and repair.

Lake Namekagon.

The location of the property on the lake was wonderful but that but the but the property had several issues. There were carpenter ants and and mosquitoes coming down the chimney. The water was so rusty. It was not drinkable and we had to throw our toothbrushes away at the end of our stay, because they were so rusty. One of the members skin actually was orange, because of the rust in the water. The most serious issue was the stairs and walkway down to the dock. The railings were rotten when held onto they wiggle back-and-forth you could not lean on them safely.
