Charming barn near Argelès & Lourdes in Hautes-Pyrénées, pets welcome, wifi

Located in a small village at 600m. altitude, our house offers the advantage of being distant enough from roads and highways to avoid nuisance but just close enough to get started and easily visit the Pyrenees' major places of interest ; Gavarnie (UNESCO's world heritage), the waterfalls at Pont d'Espagne, Pic du Midi and its astronomical observatory, the charming valley of Azun and its lakes, etc. In Winter you will appreciate skiing avoiding the hustle and high rates of ski resorts, and in Summer you'll be spoiled with a great choice of sightseeing, tours and hikes. The chalet offers 2 bedrooms upstairs (one with baby cot), a shower and a separate toilet, and a spacious living room on the ground floor. 4 people can easily be accomodated (and up to 6 with a convertible sofa bed in the living room). A fenced garden of 700 m2, a terrace for outdoor dining or sunbathing and hiking trails nearby are its majors assests ! Pets are welcome (if well behaved, just like children !). Granting the comfort of a 3-star holiday home the chalet is fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, deep freezer, flat screen TV, etc.). Exposed beams inside, stone walls and half-timber outside offer the chalet a sense of rural authenticity with the warmth of a careful yet simple decoration.
