PLEASE NOTE: Your reservation will be made in the name of the person making the purchase, if additional names need to be added to your reservation for check in purposes (arriving on different flights, etc), please notify us at the time of purchase or at least 7 days prior to arrival date of the additional names that should be permitted to check in. If a name is not on the reservation they will not be permitted to check in, no exceptions.

It was a great stay

But we had one issue. We saw a roach crawling on the bathroom wall. I hope this doesn't mean there is a roach infestation on the property.

Bug Issue

Found a bed bug in one of the beds, after inspecting the beds, you could see all the beds had bugs at some point. They did change our rooms, while the new rooms didn't have any active bugs, there was evidence of previous infestations. They should really change out mattresses that have blood and bug poop on them.

Great location to all activities in Williamsburg. Our condo was clean and roomy but a little dated. We will definitely be back!

green springs resort stay

Enjoyed having connecting units allowing us the privacy from the complex but being able to keep doors open to wander from unit to unit. I was disappointed after talking with an agent for over a half hour about having a unit with a queen bed in one of the second bedrooms, getting that confirmed with her, and then arriving to find only twin beds in the second bedrooms. otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Family vacation for a week

The check in process was easy, the only thing I didn't like was them pressuring us to attend a time share meeting. Telling us that we were scheduled for this day/time. The lady got defensive when I told her no, we would not be attending and we were not interested. The employees that clean and get the condos ready between guests, really need to do a better job. There were large pieces of glass in the stairway that we shared with our other family friends. Not good since we each have 2 children that were up and down the stairs between our floors all week. Also, the floor plan shown was same level rooms, ours were on floors 2 and 3 with a shared stairway. The furniture in the living area is not very comfortable at all for hanging out at night together before bed. Everything has a straight back and not easy to relax in. The kitchen floor in our unit was sticky. I ended up buying a swiffer mop while grocery shopping. The mop pad was almost black after cleaning just the kitchen floor. The pool area is nice, not as big as it looks in the pictures, but still a good size. We were disappointed that the cabana was closed. Looks like it has been all season. We were told that they didn't have enough personnel to run it. We had to call maintenance 1 time during the week because the ac in one of our units was not working. He came right out and fixed the issue. The resort is close enough to shopping and resturants, but also far enough away that there is not much traffic. Overall, the resort is nice and quiet with nice size rooms.

It’s a Time Share...

I get that if you get a free weekend at a time share you’re expected to sit through a 2.5 hour presentation, but we paid full price and kept getting the hard sale to take time out of our weekend to have some guy sell us on timeshares. It was just really annoying.

When traveling to Williamsburg for conferences or training, my staff and I enjoy staying at Greensprings. Where else can you find four-bedroom, four-bathroom accommodations with kitchen and living room for less than the cost of two hotel rooms?

Spacious, Convenient Lodging

Greensprings Resort is a great place to stay whether you are traveling with several adults or two families with children. If you are looking for a location with multiple, private bedrooms and bathrooms, this is the perfect place to stay. Clean, private, safe, location convenient to all Williamsburg sites you hope to visit!

Clean, well supplied condo close to Williamsburg attractions

Despite a few issues, we really enjoyed our stay at the Greensprings resort. The condos we rented (called a lock-off, it was two separate condos with a shared exterior entrance and interior hallway) were clean and well supplied with towels, clean linens, and kitchen items. The condos are a good size and easy to access. The pools were also clean and our kids really enjoyed swimming. We did have issues with 3 of the 4 toilets, one of which overflowed and required a visit by maintenance staff, and the wifi is unbelievably slow, to the point that we essentially didn't use it. You would be fine checking an occasional email but working (downloading documents) or streaming video is out of the question. One note: if you would like more than one individual to be able to check in to the property, take care to call well in advance of your arrival. We were unexpectedly delayed on our way to the resort and getting my sister added to the reservation such that she could check in for us was an ordeal, though I will note that the VRBO rep I spoke with was courteous and helpful. All that being said, I would stay here again and overall really enjoyed this property.

Amazing

This is an awesome place to stay! I have season passes to Busch Gardens so we stayed here. Everyone was friendly and honestly there was so much just to do at this resort we will be going back on a day we don’t do the park!

Great place and location, horrible Wi-Fi

The place is awesome and has very good location to most tourist places. Community is well kept and swimming pools and gym are nice. Security at the place is awesome and never did we have any issues during our stay. Wi-Fi is absolutely disaster. Especially if you plane to work or something. Unit has 3 floors and Wi-Fi router is placed on 3rd floor. Router is 10mbps which means like 6 apartments are sharing this one piece of hardware. We could not use Wi-Fi at all. And that is tough with kids. After talking with front desk there was not much they could do either. Even if you connected it would drop connection every 5-10 minutes so that was horrible. The unit(s), since we had 2, have some sort of horrible humidity smell which could take a while to get used to.
