Stylish and modern 1 bedroomed apart, situated at the top end of Bowness and only a 3 minute walk to the shores of Lake Windermere. Within a stones throw of bars and restaurants, perfectly located to enjoy everything Windermere and Bowness has to offer without the need to get back in your car until the day you depart. You will also have FREE access to a Health club with a swimming pool, Large spa, Roman sauna, fragranced steam room and solarium.

Fast wifi, large smart 37 inch TV in living room and bedroom, coffee machine and wine fridge, hair dyer and towles are provided.
There is free on road parking with a few hundred yards of the apartment. Easy access to bus links if needed. There are many fantastic and attractions within walking distance making this an ideal base to enjoy all the area has to offer.
Perfect for a couples get away, or business travellers.

If traveling by car the property is just off the main road. Windermere train station is only 1 mile from the property, there is a bus station just outside the train station with regular buses to bowness which passes the property.
Taxis are always available. Plus The tourist information centre is only a short walk away.

Amazing!

Amazing stay here, a gorgeous property right in the middle of the town. The pool and spa was an amazing additional treat. Amazing communication from the host who was lovely would definitely rebook in the future!

Good location positioned less than 1 mile to Windermere town centre or the lake at Bowness. 20-30 yards to regular bus service to Iimmediate areas as well as Kendal/Keswick/Grasmere. Parking is a nightmare, as while there are spaces near the property they were constantly occupied or reserved with parking cones. We managed to get parked nearby eventually but used the bus to get around so we didn’t lose the space.Building entrance is easily accessible direct from the kerb but was very unkempt. The communal hallway and stairs was also unkempt and smelled of damp. Flat 1, on the first floor was clean on arrival, however while it boasted a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, wine fridge, coffee maker etc. the rest of the property lacked any trace of comfort, (a small settee and 2 plastic chairs for seating) and so we stayed out from morning to late evening using it only to shower and sleep. The bedroom has the proportions of a single room with a small double bed taking up most of the space. The small space at the bottom of the bed was further restricted by a huge TV meaning we had to climb over each other to get in and out of it. Bathroom was ok, with full sized bath, but very little space around the toilet which would be uncomfortable for anyone with a larger frame. Paid over 500 for 3 nights, expecting to be able to enjoy some relaxing down time in the accommodation, but ended up using it as a hotel room. Very disappointed and hate having to leave a negative review.

Lovely little home Great location

Fab little apartment. Well furnished and clean . Shower had good pressure! Which is a joy ! Host very attentive when we couldn't load the docs so sent another version for us. Ace location for all the local sights and walks. Great space for a couple

Hi the property was beautiful and comfortable and we had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The location was great for access to bowness and the lakes, we had a great long weekend away and really enjoyed our stay.Liam was very helpful and immediately sorted out a minor problem with the boiler and with the instructions to access the property. These weren’t his fault - vrbo seems to stop people sending links to external documents in their messages so I couldn’t access the document with the instructions when I first arrived. So make sure you have this info and don’t just assume you can access it because you’ve received a link. The only negative is that we specifically searched for a property with parking. The property is advertised as having parking included but this was a bit misleading - we had to park quite far away on a random side street as all the spaces directly outside were taken. You might be lucky and get a space but it’s not guaranteed.As long as the parking is not a vital factor it’s a great place for a relaxing stay.

We loved our stay here, it's perfectly located 5 minutes walk into Bowness and 20 minutes into Windemere.Communication between Liam and us was fab, you couldn't ask for more, although you didnt see him, you knew he was on hand.The apartment is nice, I needed to work a few days and the wifi was good enough to handle this really well.Although the apartment is a little tired, it has everything you need for a perfect stay.I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely apartment . Loved the colourful light above window table which got bright sun in the morning, very well equipoed kitchen area and great full stretch bath to soak away alot of walking. Excellent location for Bowness amenities and the lake and about 20 mins steady walk back to train station. Buses, cafes 2 minutes away. Only slight niggle were fibre pillows bit hard and flat for me but i was that tired from being out and about it didnt stop me sleeping and i would stay again 😊
