Welcome to a completely newly renovated cottage located next to one of the hubs for bus traffic along the coast in northern Bohuslän. From here it is easy to take part in everything that this coastal area has to offer. In the immediate area there are several nature reserves, hiking trails with wonderful vantage points both over the lake, fjord and archipelago. In nearby Gerlesborg, there are nice bathing spots as well as an art school, stone carving and a collective workshop where you can both see various exhibitions but also attend various training courses. It is also geographically very well located for day trips to other charming coastal communities both to the north and south. Via the entrance you enter a welcoming hall from which a staircase leads up to the second floor. Here you are met by large open, bright and generous areas consisting of an open kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher, large dining area with kitchen furniture and high chair. 3 bedrooms, one with two single beds, one with a large comfortable double bed and a single bed, and one with a bunk bed and a double bed (2x90cm)). From one of the bedrooms you reach a small balcony where you can enjoy the evening sun. Bathroom with underfloor heating and shower, on the first floor by the hall is the cottage's second bathroom with shower. The living room is generously proportioned, here there is a TV corner with a comfortable sofa, a corner with a table football game, between these and the kitchen area there is a pool table where you can develop your skills in this sport. Next to the pool table is a reading corner with comfortable armchairs, from this corner you come out onto a small balcony with a coffee corner, here also a staircase leads down to the cottage's patio with summer furniture and barbecue, a nice place for pleasant conversations over a good piece of food and something good in the glass. The laundry room on the ground floor with washing machine and dryer is shared with a small apartment on the ground floor that is also rented out. Bovallstrand is a nice old fishing village and with its location right by the sea, salt bathing becomes a given activity and here are also the famous bathing islets which are one of Bohuslän's finest bathing spots suitable for both swimming and fishing. In the buildings, much has been preserved from when shipping, fishing and stone-cutting flourished, which gave Bovallstrand its fine atmosphere. In the immediate area there are more pleasant and well-visited archipelago communities such as Smögen and Hunnebostrand, there is also a zoo called Nordens Ark where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals. The beautiful nature and the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest feline, the Amur tiger, make the zoo a very popular excursion destination if the weather turns cloudy or you feel the need for a workout in a gym environment, there is Tumlaren, Sotenäs municipality bathing and wellness facility located in the coastal community of Väjern.
