Great Tahoe Home with 60-Foot Deck & Panoramic Lake Tahoe View

Our panoramic view of Lake Tahoe will take your breath away from the moment you walk in the door. A photograph is only able to capture a third of the view you will be enjoying from two blocks above the lake.

You will delight in the beauty of Lake Tahoe while soaking in the hot tub as well as relaxing inside the house. It is wonderful to sit in the hot tub and watch the sunset over the water while sharing drinks and conversation with friends and family.

It is equally wonderful to sit in front of the fire and look out at the lights around the shore-line and the moon reflected in the lake.

Our home is situated on an acre with large trees and open sunny areas. It is beautifully furnished and completely equipped. Unlike most rental properties, our home is equipped for our enjoyment as well as yours. We have a large wood stove with a view of the flames, and we provide the free firewood.

In the winder we provide a snowplow service to keep the driveway clear, and we have a large two-car garage.

In the summer we provide outdoor furniture including a dining set and lounge chairs on our 60-foot deck which runs the full length of the house.

Our home is perfect for a honeymoon as well as for a family vacation! If you e-mail us, please include your phone number so we can talk to you personally and answer all your questions.

Tahoe Stay
The property was as advertised and had absolutely fantastic views of the Lake Tahoe. Frankly, the furnishings are a bit dated and for the price it seems there should have been some amenities other than TV, which, by the way, we couldn't get to work satisfactorily. The "Renters Book" of instructions needs to be revised. Some of the information was wrong but notes made by prior renters helpful. While we were there, there was a problem with the air conditioning that the owner was having fixed. Unfortunately, the repair ran over into our booked time and our flexibility was lost from 9-3:30 our first full day since someone needed to be there to allow the service men to react with the thermostat. No offer to offset the rent was made by the owner. Given our experience, I don't think I would rent again at the asking price.

Beautiful View of Lake Tahoe
This property's view of Lake Tahoe far exceeded our expectations, and is much grander than depicted in the promotional photos! Home was very clean, comfortable, and charming. We did experience some technology problems on our last day and on-site instructions and contact information was woefully out-of-date, as we could not contact the owner. Overall, a very nice property to visit in September.

Best view, wonderful location, amazing hot tub
The location was very convenient with the most spectacular view! It was the last house on a corner so there was privacy. There were two grocery stores within 5 miles. We enjoyed the kitchen and laundry and the grill and deck and dining room and watched movies. The living room had a mirror so you could see the view even facing away from the deck and lake!! The beds were comfortable and there were three showers and three bathrooms so that was so convenient. There was a bear at the neighbors’ house so that was thrilling while also a good reminder not to leave any food outside- use the bear proof trash box outside and keep your car locked. The directions for the front door and keys was very helpful. The hot tub was so beautiful with a view after a day of paddling in the cold lake. The sunrises were gorgeous!!

Five of us stayed together to attend a nearby wedding. The location, accommodations, and view were perfect! Well equipped kitchen, lovely deck with nice bar-b que and lovely furnishings.

The view alone is worth it!!!
What an amazing view, we are so glad we booked this property. The home is cozy, well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. very clean and welcoming. The host was amazing and quick to address questions and even providing recommendations for places in town. You won’t be disappointed. We’ve already booked our next trip here in the winter months.

Nice property with beautiful view. No internet connection so no tv but didn’t need it with the view. Unable to connect with property manager because the VRBO website doesn’t recognize the codes they send you.

Our visit was lovely. The view from the deck was absolutely beautiful. I would come again. The furniture (couches and chairs) need to be upgraded. The beds were comfortable. I found it odd that we were requested to wash the spa towels and take the sheets from the beds. Overall our stay was fantastic.

What a wonderful home and location! Went away for a nice relaxing trip and that is exactly what we got. Owner communicated wonderfully with us and even allowed up to check in early, which we appreciated. Extremely tidy, great location, and many amenities available to us.

It's all about the view!
The location is great. It's very private and quiet setting with a spectacular view. We spent as much time on the deck as possible. The house could use a little TLC and updates, but the critical elements (e.g., beds) were adequate. It was very difficult to operate the locks with the key in the lockbox and some of the information provided via VRBO and in the binder in the house is not current, including the contact phone number for the host.

Very comfortable home with wonderful view. A little dated, but in a cozy way. Only thought is that we wish there had been some Tupperware or at least some plastic wrap or foil for food storage, and also some of the kitchen items, particularly the pans, are in need of replacement. However, great place!

Our stay was stupendous! Definitely spoiled for 10 days of Tahoe beauty. We have been staying at the Ridgewood home for 10 years and next summer will be 11. The house is well-equipped, guest friendly, and the view is amazing. From just about every window comes a lake view. A definite treat!

Beautiful view!
The neighborhood and the view of the lake were INCREDIBLE! The hot tub was in good working order and there was a large table where we all could sit together and enjoy a meal. The only thing that was a problem at times was the temperature inside the house. The listing said there was AC but we were unable to turn down the temperature below 73 degrees on the thermostat. It got a little muggy. We tried to remedy this by opening windows to let some evening cool air in but no windows had screens. As a result, bugs were flying inside. Other than this, the stay was great!
