This property was everything is stated it would be, minus having no balcony. Very clean, stocked with everything needed, secured gated PIN code access, steps from the beautiful private beach (which provides umbrellas and chairs, for a small fee), awesome heated pool and the communication with property is excellent as well. 10/10 recommend and would stay here again!

Loved this place

The unit was clean, nice view, equipped with everything we needed including a cooler to take to the beach. There were even books to read, the pool was good size and clean. Great access to the beach.

Perfect for us

The property was as advertised. Check-in and Check-out process super easy - On arrival, the condo was clean and beautiful. I really loved the decor - my partner said the bed in the master was not good for his back - but I had no problems. Overall, the condo was perfect for us and location was great.

Great location cleanliness not the best

The guard was asleep when we came in. I had to tap on the window to wake her up. The extra cleaning process due to Covid was not there. Glasses dirty and dirt on the floor. Trash can was dirty too.

ROACH infestation. We have small children and it was extremely difficult to be moved. They offered to exterminate but who wants to deal with that during vacation. They had the place sprayed 2 days prior to check in and it was still disgusting. We will never use Realjoy vacations again.

We had no balcony. Entire complex was under renovation and that was not disclosed in the listing.

The entire complex was under heavy renovations. This was not addressed in the listing. There is no balcony. Very deceiving by pictures. The pool is no where near the beach. It is located on the back of parking lot.

Construction Warning!

First, when we first get to the complex we find out that all three buildings of the complex are under pretty heavy construction. Then when we get to the room we find that the knob to turn the over on is missing and the door to the master bathroom is broken. We still ended up having a great time but it was inspite of all the issues with the condo.

Our booking was from 10/8/17 through 10/12/17 and it was great! Their was two things that annoyed me though.My first thing, I did not enjoy was fleas, One of the fleas crawled up my shirt and I was terrified. My second thing, The TV'S, It would take me forever to just get the cable on. The only TV that all the features worked was the living room TV.

construction sucks

There was no notice that there would be construction right outside our door from 8am-4pm everyday. Also, going without water for a whole day wasn't fun. I feel like there should be a discount or a partial reimbursement due to these two things.

Overall cleanliness was disappointing. I actually went in and cleaned the property myself.

Upon entrance we were greeted with a terrible sewer smell, found the culprit the dishwasher, smell lingered for three days even after several maintenance people came to help, water leaks all over the kitchen near the fridge, As sweet as the maintenance people were they did not fix anything, the lounge near the window needs to be thrown out, it’s shedding and makes a huge mess. Oven temp knob didn’t work so you never new what temp your food was. I enjoyed the beach and my vacay but I can’t say that we will stay here again. It’s an old dingy condo that needs a really good cleaning, especially the floors and grout.

It was a nice condo, and we love the location, but after we found dirty pots & knives in the kitchen

I believe it is probably just a bad day with the cleaning service, but we had dirty pots & knives that were put up dirty also. It kinda made you wonder what else was not cleaned properly. The beds were clean, so I guess that's all that matters, except the beds were not comfortable at all. I always bring cleaning products and extra paper towel/toilet paper. We had no extra rolls of toilet paper, and every condo we've been in provides complimentary coffee, and we didn't receive any. Not a problem there either, because I always bring that too. Just letting you know that the cleaning service was not the best.. We really did enjoy our stay, and we finally figured out the TVs. Maybe you should leave instructions on how to get the service up and running.

Not what was expected

First of all!!! The unit was said to be an OCEANVIEW but in reality it’s more like partial oceanview especially since there is a building directly infront of the tower that this unit is in. Me and my family go to the beach twice a year. We always stay in a unit that is directly on the beach, oceanview with a balcony…. Which is what we thought we were getting when we rented this unit. The pictures of the tower that go along with the unit we rented are that of tower 1 which is NOT the unit we were in…. We were in the unit behind that which was tower 3 with no balcony but pictures make it seem like there is a balcony…. Especially from the outside. Was very un-impressed with the fact that we had to walk through the parking lot to access the beach. Next on my list of disappointments is every single tower is under some form of construction that will most definitely have you awake by 7:30 A.M. BUT the beaming sun at 6:00 A.M. coming through the bedroom and living room windows will more than likely wake you up first because this unit’s owner’s or property management haven’t realized what blackout curtains are yet. I mean I understand it’s a beach but you can still have black out curtains that can be pulled closed at night and it would definitely help with cooling off the unit since there is an insane rule of the A.C. not being set below 70 even though the temp outside is 100 plus degrees and its hitting directly into windows with white blinds and very shear curtains. Trust me when I say… I’m not one to complain and I never leave reviews. I am usually always very pleased with the places that we have stayed and we have no problem spending the money to stay at a nice establishment. But it’s pretty aggrivating that I have to go and spend my own money on fans for the bedroom/living area just to feel cool enough in the unit to sleep at night. Very hot natured at night when sleeping. The only area that stayed remotely cooled to our liking was the second room. Now moving on…. Let’s talk about the stove!!!! How it’s missing a knob. Try fixing that. I had to take the knob from the temperature level side just to turn the oven to bake and then when I did that it was actually left in the wrong setting from the previous renters so instead of me putting it on bake like I thought it was put on broil so burnt food!! YAY! Then only one roll of toilet paper for 6 days…. Will never rent here again. I could go on and on but those are the main things I guess

I am very disappointed in our rental property!! hair everywhere on the beds in the shower all over the bathroom. soap tray was dirty sink is leaking the toilet stopped up as we got here but really what topped it off is blood stains on my bed and pillowcase. i brought my granddaughters down for a girls trip and could not even stand the thought of having them to stay there and all they did was refunded our cleaning fee wow had to get a room in panama city beach and it was 10 times cleaner

Girls trip

The property is well maintained.. currently a lot of construction is going on and they start working about 8am, so it gets kind of loud early but not too bad..the room is very nice and comfortable we never felt cramped up.. I would make a couple suggestions.. we had a lot of rain so had to stay in a couple of days - there are no board games or anything to play.. also, with it being in the beach and pool some pool toys would be nice to have. I have had this in all other places we have stayed and it is very nice. We have even left some toys behind for other guests to enjoy.. the other would be more towels and linens there was 5 of us and only 4 bath towels.. the trip was wonderful, the room is lovely these are just notes that would have made it easier

A few suggestions

There were cockroaches and other bugs in the living areas -ants and possibly small silverfish? The treated the room while we were there but we still continued to see bugs even on the last morning as we checked out. Instructions for operating tvs would be helpful / we weren’t able to find local stations. Larger light bulbs in bedside lamps to allow reading in bed would be helpful. The staff was helpful and friendly and always responded to requests. The pool area and facility location to beach were great! Thanks Benita Shantz
