At Jegertunet holiday center in the neighborhood there is a heated outdoor swimming pool open in summer, restaurant, kiosk, and an interior design shop. Fishing licenses for the fish rich Skarvannet can also be bought here. Otherwise, there is the possibility of coastal fishing not far from the cabin. At Stabbestad, 20 km away, there is a spa hotel and golf course as well as a mini-golf facility, and at the water's edge there is a beach club, harbor pool and kayak rental on the fjord. A visit to Kragerø in the north and Tvedestrand in the south is recommended. 'Den lille dyrehage' at Brokelandsheia with Norway's largest rainforest is only 20 km away.
