Light, bright and beautiful~ you will be transported to a simpler, easier way of life the second you step onto the over-sized covered porch typical of this style.

The house is close to everything (Venice Canals, Santa Monica, LAX) yet tucked away on a quiet and peaceful tree-lined, walk-street. The beach cottage style of this vintage home is evident when you enter the living room with beautifully built-in details throughout the home yet perfectly updated w/ brand new systems, chef's kitchen and gorgeous bathrooms. All of the furnishings are brand new and in pristine condition. Additionally, there is a small reading nook off of the living room where you can quietly read, meditate, or simply gaze out into the garden. The over-sized dining room is the perfect place to share meals and connect.

A charming rental!

A bright & sunny cottage in a perfect Venice location. Wavecrest is a quiet walking street that is very peaceful, yet you are only minutes away from the beach to the right, or Abbot Kinney Blvd to the left. So easy to walk to restaurants, shops, or nearby bike rentals! The owner is very accessible & accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Beach Bungalow

This home was exactly as advertised! Clean, spacious for 4 adults and extremely well appointed. The neighborhood was charming and itā€™s a short walk to the beach! The host was very communicative without being obtrusive. Highly recommend this home!!

Perfect Location Close to the Beach

The house is exactly as advertised. Everything is like brand new. Beds were comfortable. Perfect for 2 couples. We loved drinking coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Walking distance to the beach/shops made it easy. We didnā€™t need to rent a car just used ride shares to go anywhere further out. The host was on top of communication. Great trip!

A Perfect Beach Getaway!

We loved our stay at this property! The house was perfect for two couples. The home is stylishly decorated, well stocked, comfortable, clean and located within a couple of blocks from the beach in a quiet residential neighborhood off a quaint alley. We found a great coffee house a couple of blocks away on Pacific Avenue and it was just a short walk to shopping and restaurants on Abbot Kinney Blvd. The owner was very accommodating with an early check-in which was much appreciated. We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Excellent craftsman Venice home

Weā€™re a discerning couple in our 60ā€™s. This is a beautiful, quiet, clean home in an excellent Venice location. The photos are an accurate reflection. Another reviewer commented about the small parking spot. We have a Toyota Avalon, which is a wide sedanā€”the spot was fine for it. Just a short walk to the beach and a short walk to many good restaurants. Shana is a highly responsive, thoughtful host. We hope to stay here again.

Welcoming home

We like to walk around the neighborhood as a family and itā€™s LA so there are some streets that should be avoided at certain times, but thats not The owners fault! We enjoyed the beach area but there was a lot of drugs, homeless, and a couple confrontational mentally ill people. However, the home was beautiful and we had a great stay on our way to Hawaiā€™i. Perspective-wise, we are from Maine so LA is like a different country to us. Thank you!

Beautiful Home

We loved our stay in this over 100 year old charming craftsman style home. Totally renovated with all the modern features and comforts you need for a great vacation in Venice. The home is well stocked with all the basic essentials you need. We especially enjoyed the comfort and beauty of the front porch! Excellent communication with Shana. If renting a car, rent smaller not larger. Single parking spot is tight but convenient right next to house. We found the neighborhood very pleasant and quiet.

Beautiful home in the heart of Venice

We had a great stay - we were in LA visiting colleges for our high school son. Staying here allowed us to enjoy the beach as well and was easy access to some great restaurants both in Venice and Santa Monica! Highly recommend!

Great Venice bungalow

House is super clean, sunny and in a great location, easy walk to beach and shopping. Updated interior, kitchen and baths are clean with everything we needed. Parking available for one car only and it canā€™t be a big suv, thatā€™s the only downside but again, a short walk if you have to find parking elsewhere. Owner was quick to respond when needed and very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing location & house

My family and I stayed at Shanaā€™s house for a long weekend. The house is extremely clean with new amenities. The location is perfect if youā€™re looking to stay in Venice. Itā€™s nestled between Main Street, Abbott Kinney and the beach. Shana was easy to communicate with and was very responsive. I would recommend this place.

Cool Craftsman!

We loved our first LA experience and feel that we chose well by staying here! My wife and I travelled with three children ages 26,18, and 16. This house is older but has been beautifully renovated and is well decorated. The creaking floors reminded us of older homes with personality back in the south in Charleston, SC. Shana is a wonderful host - gracious and quick to reply to any questions we had. I highly recommend this place to up to 5 people (or more if using an air mattress provided!) looking for comfort, style, every modern convenience youā€™d want in a cool craftsman cottage. Parking is provided -there is a single space provided behind the house but use caution as it is tight on these quaint alleys - no problem for a sedan but an SUV wouldnā€™t make the turns - there is plenty of street parking on Main a few steps from the house. I hope you enjoy this home as much as we did!

Perfect location to Venice beach

House was comfortable and clean. Parking for SUV was sufficient and right next to the house.porch was perfect place for morning coffee or afternoon glass of vine. Walking distance to Venice beach and very convenient. Kitchen well equipped with coffee machines and everything you will ever need. Beds super comfortable and overall 5 star
