I would NEVER stay here again. If you want something close to the city centre, and don't have your own transport, think twice about this place. Their blurb stated (seems to have changed now) it was a leisurely 5 minute stroll to the train station (more like a 20 minute walk) and said that it was a short train ride into Glasgow city (more like 50 minutes with a change of train necessary). They changed our cabin from a 3 BR to a 2 BR, NOT what we wanted, but couldn't find any accommodation left in Glasgow for the Com Games by the time they told us. The cabin smelt musty, had previous water damage as indicated by stains on walls and carpets. There was no toilet brush, dustpan and brush, broom or vacuum cleaner (for a 10 night stay). The staff's manner was basically complacent and a little blaze. There were only 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. One dryer didn't work. I have stayed in some cheap places over the years, this was not as cheap as some and not as well maintained as a lot of these cheap places. We were given one tea towel and one very small sponge/scouring pad. We relied on pre-booked cars for the whole 10 nights as my legs were not up to walking to the train station and back each day. Now they want to refund my security deposit but insist on my giving them my card details including CCV and expiry date via email to process the refund. I have asked them to GO TO THE BANK and do a bank transfer. This is beyond their capabilities for some unknown reason!!!
