Exclusive , private "Willow's Ski Retreat", Strategically located at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, mere minutes to the Legendary slopes of World Class Alta  and Snowbird Resort. Also catering for conference groups with the SLC conference continently located a short 5 min drive and and the famous Bell Canyon trail and the Dimple Bell Regional park at your front door offering Hiking, biking and Horseback riding . In addition Top Utah Resorts such as the quaint miners town of Park City (40mins)-now home to the Sundance Film Festival, fine restaurants and fantastic shopping for the Ladies, also 5 star resorts such as Deer Valley, The Canyons, Solitude, Brighton, (25mins ) Snow Basin (1hr). drive,where the Olympic Downhill was held), Powder Mountain and Sundance all within a comfortable striking distance for those first untracked runs of the morning that you will never forget! With an AVG snow fall of 500 inches per year .If required by our guests an on site Concierge, one of the most friendliest guys around, Scotch Whipple (aka ‘Whiskey’) with over 40 years experience within these mountains, the Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, to ensure your every need/desire is catered for. The Willows retreat stands alone as a state of the art,  one of a kind ski/snowboard Chateau that is only topped by a river straight out of the Wasatch flowing through grounds. All around you The Willows engulfs one in a warm organic mountain ambience. With materials indigenous to the area the over the top exterior and interior natural river rock cladding and up to 30 foot tall stripped bark lodge pole construction throughout compliments the feel of this truly amazing 5 star Western Alpine Lodge that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people.(additional guests on request) The Heated driveway will also allow you access to the property during heavy snow storms .

** Due to COVID regulations and deep cleaning required at the property we ask all guests to check in and check out at the correct time, if this is not possible additional charges of $300 will apply .

Utah Ski Vacation

Our group enjoyed a weeklong stay at the Willows. The property is large, spacious and well stocked. The location is convenient to outdoor recreation and stores. Mountain views and sunsets from the back deck are fantastic.

Amazing stay!

Perfect for large group

The Willows worked perfectly for our multi generational family gathering! Lots of space, everything worked as described, super close to Little Cottonwood Canyon. Whiskey (property manager) was friendly and helpful.

College reunion ski trip

Great property with beautiful furnishings and an excellent view from the porch and hot tub. Perfect location for getting to both Cottonwood Canyons for skiing. Whiskey was super helpful!

Outstanding location

This is our groups third stay here in four years and never disappoints. Plenty of space and beds for everyone and the hot tub is an added plus after long day of skiing. Although we cooked in most nights, the local area has many good dining choices. Our caretaker Whiskey is always on hand to address any issues or share with you a great local dining spot! Thanks Peter for sharing your home with us!!

The perfect place for your Utah holiday

Perfect location at the base of the Cottonwood Canyon roads. Fantastic views over the valley from the hot tub. Open concept set up great for entertaining. Well appointed home. Property manager Scott was fantastic...looked after all our needs. We will return.

The moment I met Tony, he was family! The Toronto Crew of too tall Anmire, Nick, Graham, Stathis and my best new buddy the endearing control freak Bulence really knew how to enjoy life! These boys ripped the mountains up! We shared some great powder turns together on the hill and these boys would invite me up every night to share in their fun. Respectful, gracious and super appreciative of what the Willows has to offer. Looking forward to Big Tony and his Crew of Merry Torontans coming back next year !!!..... Whiskey ...Willow’s Manager

Beautiful Home, Great Location

We had a wonderful time staying at the Willows. We loved the beautiful home that had so many things to do- hot tub, sauna, pool table, ping pong, beautiful wooded backyard with creek, lots of hiking and running nearby. Scott was very friendly and helpful. It was nice having him so close. He responded to all of our requests quickly and cheerfully. The views of the mountains and the valley were fantastic. Everyone in our group found things they liked to do at the property and nearby. We will definitely stay here again!

Good location to ski, nice house

We have a large group of 14 people stayed one week. The location is perfect to ski snowbird and Alta. Although there is shuttle bus close to the house, we drove because the weather were good. It’s about 15 minutes drive to snowbird and Alta. We also drove to deer valley which took about 50 minutes. The house is big enough for our group of 14 people. The house is new and clean. The beds are comfortable,blanket and towels are high quality. Scott is very nice and helpful and he respond to questions via message very quick. We definitely will come back in the future.

Hi Jim, Thanks for your positive feed back. yes the location is perfect , not only are the resorts a stones throw away but the conveniences of a city are at your door step along with the Conference centre a mere 5 mins away

Amazing place, amazing view

We needed a place for family to gather for the week leading up to our daughters wedding. The house was perfect for a large group-lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals for large groups and the view from the hot tub was fantastic. The yard made for gorgeous pre-wedding photos and we had a few deer wander through. Whiskey was great-he was available to help or answer questions if needed, but was otherwise completely unobtrusive and you wouldn't even know he was there. The master bathroom was perfect for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. Only suggestion would be to add an outdoor table for the patio near the hot tub. Loved this place!

Guys ski trip

A group of 10 guys, dads and sons, perfect location for skiing little and big cottonwood canyons and also easy access to Park City and for a day trip to Snow Basin. Great lay out and well stocked kitchen as we cooked all our meals. The property manager was readily available and very accommodating. We will for sure rent this home again

Fantastic property!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. The house was spacious enough for 11 adults, the property was clean and ready upon arrival, and the manager was extremely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. Great trip, great snow, we will be back!

Family get away to Utah

The rental was as pictured with plenty of space for the 9 of us. The kitchen had every type of cooking utensil, pots and pans needed. The lighting was labeled which helped with all of the lights. We enjoyed the deck for conversation and games. Great view of the skyline and valley. We were able to take advantage of the area with a pontoon ride, hikes, kayaking, paddle boards and sailing. The 75 inch TV was great for watching the Olympics. A wonderful adventure. Thanks Whiskey.

An Absolute Gem

Fabulous family wedding week!

Our stay was wonderful. Peaceful evenings relaxing on the deck with the jacuzzi watching the gorgeous sunsets. Big family meals cooked in the spacious kitchen with everything we needed. Big dining room table. Fun game/TV room downstairs. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. Right in the middle of a beautiful nature area. We took lots of walks. Caretaker very responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend for a large family or several couples getaway. We would love to go back!

Great Property

We enjoyed our week very much. The house is extremely well-maintained, well-furnished, etc. "Whiskey", the property manager was terrific. He was available to help with anything we needed or answer any questions we had. When we come back to the Salt Lake area, we will definitely stay here again.

Convenient, scenic and fun

Check in was a breeze as we were greeted upon arrival by the property manager who kept in touch via text while we were on our way. Super convenient to skiing Snowbird, Alta being less than a half mile from base of the canyon. Beautiful views off the back deck and really enjoyed sitting in hot tub while watching the sunset. Playing pool and ping-pong was a blast and a bonus for us. And, having access to the Netflix account was great. Would come back here everything we are skiing in Utah.

Amazing beautiful home with a stunning view!

First a big Thank You to Scott the property manger who took care of all our needs! The home is sparkling clean very spacious and has a stylish comfortable interior great kitchen and a lot to offer like jacuzzi on the deck , sauna, game room and perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood! We were a party of 10 and enjoyed every moment! Ski resorts are in close vicinity and we definitely will visit again! Marianne

Excellent property, central to great outdoor activities

Willows was perfect for our vacation. The property has plenty of space and activities for us. It location is perfect for skiing and boarding in little and big cottonwood canyons. We will definately go back.

Great property with all the amenities you need, and then some. Onsite property manager Scott is an absolute legend, and made both check-in and our stay seamless. I would highly recommend!

Magnificant house with stunning views and excellent location.

Willows ski retreat was one of the best in our 25 years of renting ski properties. The house delivered on all accounts. The bedrooms were amazing, the kitchen well stocked and location was superb. Scott, the care taker, was eager to help in any way he could to make our stay most memorable. Fantastic location to the ski resorts and outstanding restaurants. The view of the mountains while sitting in the hot tub topped it off. We will stay again!!!
