I recently stayed at this apartment in Paris, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.One of the main issues was the lack of transparency regarding ongoing construction in the building and the neighboring property. There was no mention or warning about this beforehand. I was woken up at 8:00 a.m. by loud, persistent construction noise, which significantly disrupted my stay. This is something I would have appreciated knowing in advance.Additionally, the construction workers left a small crane blocking the immediate access to the apartment. This posed a clear safety hazard and made entering and exiting the property inconvenient. Despite requesting its removal, nothing was done during my stay.Another issue was with the advertised amenities. The apartment lists two TVs, but neither was functioning upon arrival. Neither TV was connected to the internet, and it was not possible to connect them to WiFi. While someone came the next day and fixed the TV in the living room, the one in the bedroom remained unusable for the duration of my stay. As such, it should not be advertised as a feature.Overall, I found the listing to be somewhat misleading, and these issues negatively impacted my experience.

WARNING:Our experience with this property was extremely disappointing. The host cancelled our reservation using their own internal system and never notified us or VRBO. We only discovered the cancellation when we arrived to check in and were told we no longer had a booking.What makes this even worse is that the host still shows a 0% cancellation rate on VRBO, which strongly suggests they cancelled outside the platform to skirt VRBO’s host‑cancellation rules and penalties. This is a serious breach of trust and a clear attempt to manipulate the system. There was no communication from the host whatsoever. We did not receive a text message, call, nor email to properly notify us of the cancellation. Further, when we spoke with VRBO's customer service team, they had no idea the reservation was cancelled because the host avoided doing it through the proper channels. As a result, we were left stranded and scrambling for last‑minute accommodations.This behavior is unprofessional, deceptive, and completely unacceptable. I would strongly warn future guests to avoid this property. This host should not be trusted.

Ich habe kürzlich in diesem Apartment in Paris übernachtet und war leider enttäuscht. Eines der Hauptprobleme war die mangelnde Transparenz bezüglich der laufenden Bauarbeiten im Gebäude und auf dem Nachbargrundstück. Es gab keinerlei Hinweise oder Warnungen im Vorfeld. Ich wurde morgens um 8:00 Uhr von lautem, anhaltendem Baulärm geweckt, was meinen Aufenthalt erheblich beeinträchtigte. Ich hätte es begrüßt, dies im Voraus zu wissen. Zudem blockierte ein kleiner Kran den direkten Zugang zum Apartment. Dies stellte eine klare Sicherheitsgefahr dar und erschwerte das Betreten und Verlassen des Gebäudes erheblich. Obwohl ich um die Entfernung des Krans bat, geschah während meines Aufenthalts nichts. Ein weiteres Problem betraf die beworbenen Annehmlichkeiten. Im Apartment waren zwei Fernseher aufgeführt, aber keiner von beiden funktionierte bei meiner Ankunft. Keiner der Fernseher war mit dem Internet verbunden, und es war auch nicht möglich, eine WLAN-Verbindung herzustellen. Zwar kam am nächsten Tag jemand und reparierte den Fernseher im Wohnzimmer, aber der im Schlafzimmer blieb während meines gesamten Aufenthalts unbrauchbar. Daher sollte er nicht als Ausstattungsmerkmal beworben werden. Insgesamt empfand ich die Produktbeschreibung als etwas irreführend, und diese Probleme haben mein Erlebnis negativ beeinflusst.
