Great weekend away

The cabin myself and husband stayed in was beautiful it had everything we needed for our weekend stay. It was very clean and the little extras like the breakfast packs and wood starter packs were a nice touch we would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely and relaxing

Everything about our stay was perfect. Our first night we were the only people there which was strange but very peaceful. The hot tub was amazing and the wigwam/retreat that we stayed in was just perfect in every way.

So peaceful

Lovely location away from major roads, found it easily enough as I know dumfries and galloway very well . Cracking views over cairnsmore of fleet one of my favourite hill climbs also mini gaff hills. Also not far to travel if you want to climb the range of the awful hand and rhinns of Kells great views this is an ideal location , loved it if its just peace and quiet you want trust me this is the place , will be back

Cosy vibes & relaxing stay

We had a lovely relaxing break away! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect way to unwind and enjoy some quality time together. It was peaceful, cosy and just what we needed to recharge and escape from everyday life. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would happily return! 😊

Magical place

The setting could hardly have been better surrounded by pine forest, rolling hills and that wonderful sense of space. The accommodation itself was just right: comfortable, thoughtfully arranged and equipped with everything we needed. It is obvious that the hosts have put a great deal of thought into making the stay as easy and enjoyable as possible The pièce de résistance, though, was undoubtedly the hot tub. We simply could not get enough of not get enough it

Peaceful cosy cabin retreat, just what we needed!

Can’t fault anything about our stay at Galloway Retreats. Cabin was extremely clean with everything you need for a cosy remote trip. A 20-30 minute drive into Newton Stewart/Wigtown if you need any shops or local pubs so would advise taking any groceries you may need if you just want to chill in the cabin. Check in process very clear and all the information you could possibly need is given in an online app. Would 100% recommend!
