Townsend Place Beaver Creek Ski-In/Out

Townsend Place is located on the banks of Beaver Creek next to a children’s park.

This condo features a large living room , wood fireplace, two full bathrooms, deck area with a gas grill, and a large master suite with a king size bed. Also to note, is a flat screen TV with HD in the living area and a queen sofa sleeper for a little extra sleeping space. There is an assigned ski locker on the lower level, one of the largest hot tubs in Beaver Creek on site, and building-wide free wifi. Ski-In/Out access is via the Elkhorn Chairlift (#14). All of this is located just a short three minute walk to the center of Beaver Creek Village. For stays of 1,2,3,4,5 nights a checkout cleaning fee of $100 will be added to the cost of any reservation. If you stay 6 nights or more, the checkout clean is waived. This residence does not have air conditioning.

Property Manager will send a separate invoice for Room and Tax to be filled out and sent to them.

The host was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. We love the location of the condo, and while I’m ok with staying in something that is dated, I wish it was cleaner. There was a very strong odor in the kitchen, probably from the sink, that was very unpleasant.

Very nice property, had everything we needed as we like to cook in the room, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Village Connect picked us up and dropped us off at Centennial Station daily. Stress free trip.

Great little get away, as advertised and reviewed.

Everything was as expected, other than the Elk Horn chairlift not yet running, but that is a Beaver Creek Mtn issue. Great location, well appointed, it is not over the top luxury if thats what you're looking for.

Please was clean and great for our first time to Beaver Creek

Things to improve upon would be to add a humidifier or 2 for the condo. Your directions were great and easy to follow for coming in late. On thing we would have liked was directions for the Elk Horn lift. Being first timers at Beaver Creek we did not know we could walk out and jump on a run to get to the lift. We will enjoy this next time. Thanks,

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I will make sure to get directions to the Elkhorn Chair into the condo. In regards to the humidifier, we used to have them and they would not always stay in the cleanest shape. that is why we took them out. There is a company called Humid Air that rents them and they are always clean and in perfect shape.......

Lovely stay at Townsend Place B108

We were very happy with Townsend Place (B108). Beautiful building, lovely condo, and perfect location with ski-in/ski-out access (very short walk to the ski path, which led to the lift). Two minute walk to Beaver Creek Village at the base of the mountain, where there are a number of good restaurants and shops, as well as a skating rink. The kitchen in the condo is extremely well-equipped and the entire unit was immaculately clean on our arrival. There was an issue one night with the water system in the building, which led to an alarm going off continuously during the night, but this was not the fault of the owner or the leasing/VRBO agent (Jean). When notified about the problem, they immediately sent up some plumbers to address it. Jean was wonderful - she credited us for that night's stay, which was much appreciated. Next time we go to Beaver Creek, we would definitely try to stay in this unit again.

Great location, needs some updating

Pros: The location was walkable to the village and lifts. Very convenient. If you download the Village Connect app, there was complimentary transportation throughout Beaver Creek. The overall size of the unit was good. Nice to have a fireplace and plenty of chopped wood. Nice to have on-site covered parking for one vehicle. Cons: This place has not been updated (most likely including furniture and bedding) since it was built. We did question some of the bedding as it didn’t smell clean. It was worrisome to have our daughter crawling around on the carpet because of its age. There is carpet in both bathrooms, including around the toilets. The shower in the first bathroom did not drain well. The unit is next to the stairs and since the elevator was out of order, it was a bit noisier. Thinking if the elevator was working this wouldn’t be an issue. Overall I would stay in this condo complex again, but not this unit.

BC is a Skiers Dream

We really enjoyed our stay at 108B Townsend Place. The Condo was very large for a 1 Bedroom and the 2 Full bathrooms was a bonus. Our Teenage daughter slept on the cot that was in the master closet and this was much more comfortable than the pull out sofa. The location was perfect as it is just a short 5 minute walk to the Beaver Creek Village where there is everything you need, Dining, Market, Ice Skating, Shopping, Entertainment, etc. The Ski-out was super easy down to the Elkhorn Lift, however the Ski-in is a bit tricky to find (and a little difficult in spots if you are a beginner) so your best bet is to get directions from someone before you go out on the Mountain so you will know how to get home. Once you do it once you will know and then it truly is a Ski-In/Ski-Out Condo. We also loved the HUGE Hot Tub (Literally 25 people can fit in this hot tub). It is between the 2 Condo Buildings so it is shared by a lot of vacationers but it is plenty big enough. There was never more than 5-10 people in it at any given time so it was nice. Our favorite thing to do after a long day on the slopes is a good hot tub soak. The Kitchen was also stocked with everything we needed for each meal. There are really only 2 things that kept me from giving this place all 5-Stars in every category. First was the Carpet in the bathrooms. While the carpet looked pretty new and pretty clean overall, carpet in a bathroom -especially around the toilet can be a bit unsanitary (Boys you know what I am talking about) It would not take too much to tile the 2 bathrooms and I think it would make a big improvement and be worth the investment in this gym of a place. Second the brown bedding in the bedroom needs updating. The bedspread is from 1999 (I know this as I had this very same bedspread) I loved it back then but now 20 year later it is not what you want to sleep on in a first class place. A nice super comfy down comforter with a Duvet Cover and more plush pillows are needed for sure. Thankfully we slept like babies since we skied so much so it really didn't have any impact on our vacation. Just minor TLC is needed in these two areas in my opinion. Nothing that would keep us from returning. We really had a wonderful experience overall and hope to come back very soon.

location, location, location!

We had a lovely stay at Townsend Creekside. It is the perfect location for a quiet get-away. We could walk everywhere - to the coffee shop, or ice-cream place or music venue, or creek path, or chapel, or the myriad of hiking trails. All were right outside our door! We also had a private deck to sit on and enjoy a meal while hearing the wonderful roaring creek and observing hummingbirds and other birds. It was so refreshing!

Enjoyable condo. Well equipped. Located conveniently to Beaver Creek .

Condo was equipped adequately for me/my wife. We enjoyed staying at this VRBO. Kitchen had all we needed. Place was clean. King size bed was comfortable. Two full bathrooms, with the master bath large. Closets adequate. Location top notch with walking paths available out the front door of the facility or out through the garage. Near a creek that rushed through the area.. I characterize this condo only with positives! All good.

Definitely not recomend

Apartment is furnished with very old and uncomfortable furniture and old and outdated appliances. couple coffee cups was cracked. fireplace woods are huge and very difficult to startup fire. For this price, very disappointed

The logs are cut to a standard size. We provide fire starters for you to use. Just need to start small, then gradually grow the fire in the wood fireplace. Sorry you had difficulty.

Convenient location

Condo was accurate as presented. We really liked how easy it was to access the ski trail. The Village is just a short walk away. Management was friendly and quickly fulfilled the one request we had. A great unit for one couple or a family with younger kids. It can get crowded quickly but the second bathroom is a big bonus.
