INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Owners have gone the extra mile!

Besides the location being a fantastic spot for New Years Eve, the furnishings and comfort of this place even made a somewhat rainy week very enjoyable! We'll definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

The property was amazing. It was just as described in the listing. The condo was amazing and met all of our needs. It is close to everything and the view was amazing! After a very long year it was fantastic to relax here with my daughters to celebrate.

I will never return to this property.

We arrived at 530pm after a 10 hour drive from Tennessee. When we arrived the place was a disaster. Dirty. Beds unmade and nothing cleaned. We contacted the management company "Panhandle Getaways" and they said they would send someone out. We went to dinner and returned at 830pm and the maid was still cleaning. We asked for pillows and linens for the Sofa Bed and they said they did not have any. It was a 1 bedroom which advertised it slept 4. An hour later they brought sheets and a pillow. No blankets. We called the management company and they did not return our call. We called again in the morning and they said the would email the Manager and have them call us. No response. We called again later that afternoon and each day we stayed. The entire stay (3 days) they never called us and we still (2 weeks later) have not heard from them. We waited to do the review to see if they were going to call and even apologize and they never did. I am very disappointed with the management of the unit we rented and would never rent from them again. I also would never treat a guest like that.

Great location and view.

The condo has excellent views of the ocean and pier. Pier Park is about a half a mile away...a very easy walk . This unit is located next to the elevator which is so convenient. The master bedroom is on the gulf side so you only hear the waves crashing on the beach instead of people walking and talking in the hallway when you want to sleep. The walls are thick, I never heard other renters. There’s a lot of activity going on daily which is great for kids. The condo was clean and had newer appliances. The only thing I would suggest is getting a new pullout couch. The decor is ok we are usually on the balcony or beach so it really doesn’t matter to us. The balcony furniture was nice, two tall chairs and table and two lounge chairs. We only had 3 people in our group so the accommodations suited us well. We had a great experience. I think this condo would be great for a couple vacationing alone or a family of no more than 4. The kids would have to share the pullout couch. And there’s a tub in the master bathroom if you have little ones plus a half bath in the entryway.

Old and Dirty

Inside of condo is unclean, furniture is old and dirty. We put the extra sheet over the couch just to sit on it. The carpet is old and dirty. Washing machine dirty, dryer didn't work. Toilet was leaking and refrigerator had an issuue with condensation leaking into freezer, so you could only open freezer door half way. AC filter was so dirty it couldn't pull air through it. Pool was shutdown because of issues. Manager was nice but too much wrong to fix in an afternoon. Don't stay here

Very Unhappy!! Would not stay again.!

There were no linens for the pull out and only 2 towels for party of 4. Called the office which Monica brought additional towels and wash clothes but no pillows. Was assured we would have pillows the next day. The next morning spoke with housekeeping and was told again would bring pillows and blankets. Needless to say when we left on Wednesday morning no pillows or blankets after addressing it by phone and email. Had to go buy pillows and blankets for the pullout. Also the pillow cases for the master were too short for the pillows. The unit had not been dusted looked like in over a month. Dust was awful. There was sand in fridge along with a dead fly. Upon arrival there was a large left over take out drink on the bar of the kitchen. This was the worst place I had ever stayed at and will not ever stay at again. Will go back to where I had stayed at in the past. Would rather pay double than what I received in this unit! It was really a let down for the amount that was paid. Only good thing was the weather!

Calypso in May

Loved the way the condo was decorated. Very nice. We did not have a cover on the tank of the commode, and the hand towel ring was broken so only a towel on the right sink, but everything else was great. The bartenders (2 girls) were also extremely sweet and friendly. Some that have worked there before have not been. Service was awesome this time!

Great condo

Really enjoyed our stay. We were given all the information we needed to get into the condo. The condo was furnished very well and very clean. This room was perfect for 2 (a couple) people. Only thing was was no cookie sheet, so I had to use a glass baking dish and not much light in the kitchen due to the dark paint, really needs a bigger light fixture.
