Completed in August 2017, Walnut Grove Cabin offers the peace and tranquility of a time gone by, yet with all the modern conveniences of today. The cabin is located 15 minutes from beautiful Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park, 30 minutes from Tryon International Equestrian Center, and approximately 60 minutes from Asheville and Hendersonville.

Walnut Grove Cabin consists of an airy full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, cozy bedroom with comfortable king size bed, a futon and two relaxing porches (one is screened-in!). Amenities include double closet in bedroom with additional storage, wi-fi, two TVs with DIRECTV, a cordless phone, and a paved driveway with carport. Towels and linens are furnished. Free coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate.

During the day, enjoy the solitude and quiet of pastoral views. At night, partake in the warmth and glow of the firepit (firewood is cut and readily available). If you feel the need to be part of the hustle-and-bustle, Asheville is only a drive away!

Tranquility! This cabin and setting is so peaceful and serene! Was also impressed with the cleanliness of this cabin as well as the professional landscaping. Close enough to restaurants and other activities yet still secluded for peace and relaxation! Justin was very easy to work with and went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our stay! Already planning a return stay for the fall! Highly recommend! Doug

We had the most wonderful time here. Such a sweet, cozy cabin that had everything we could need! We even enjoyed watching the resident groundhog! That was a first. We also loved the cows next door.

Nice Intimate and Private Getaway

Cozy Little Cabin

From the moment we pulled in to the driveway I absolutely fell in love with this little cabin, it was everything that me and my husband could have ask for in a rental.. Very clean and the view of the property was wonderful..We will definitely be staying again

This was booked to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. This was the perfect place for relaxation. We grilled out both days… enjoyed the views of the horses and cows, serenity at its best. The home had everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to come back.

The property was perfect! We came to town last minute and I’m so glad we found this place. The lot is amazing and beautiful. I had coffee every morning in the little covered outdoor area and listened to the birds. We also sat outside under it in the afternoons and it was lovely. The cabin was immaculately clean and very well appointed with attention to little details to make the stay more comfortable. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash, K-cups, even dog bowls and a feeding mat! There were even robes to use. The owners clearly think about making guests feel welcome and comfortable.The bed was very comfy, there were tons of pillows, and the exit from the bedroom to the porch was nice. Everything in the cabin has been kept up, everything worked as it should, and nothing was in disrepair. The cabin was designed and decorated to be so cozy. The hosts were super responsive and very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area.

A Peaceful Slice of Paradise

We fell in love with this cozy little cabin from the moment we drove up. We enjoyed coffee on the screened in porch as we watched the cows roam the fields beyond the cabin and the horses prance across the road. It's very private yet close to the beautiful attractions this area offers. One of the most enjoyable escapes we've had in a long time. We hated to leave!!
