Enjoy your time on the Island while staying in our beautiful loft located above Galveston's historic Star Drug Store! Nestled in Galveston's premiere Art District you will be a stone's throw away from chic boutiques, local galleries, tasty restaurants and exciting nightlife. The Star Drug loft is a short drive from Galveston's beaches, the Pleasure Pier amusement area and historic tourist attractions.

Our spacious open loft can accommodate up to four guests, all of whom will enjoy a peaceful sleep in this quiet downtown neighborhood. Contemporary amenities like granite counters and comfortable living meet the vintage charms of yesterday. This loft includes a full kitchen and laundry (washer/dryer included) amenities as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and Netflix TV.

This loft is accessible through a private entrance and stairway above the Star Drug Store. Travelers keep in mind this historic property does not have an elevator. Downtown Galveston streets are an enforced pay for parking area, but free parking and reasonable paid lots are only one block away.

Our stay was beyond perfect. We were in town for a wedding and this space was exactly what my husband and I needed. The space was clean, cozy and comfortable, and we would come back in a heartbeat. We have two kids so if we bring them down for a stay, we would possibly have to look into the Loft B, but Loft A was perfect for us two. The proximity to walk to all local attractions and restaurants was a nice perk, but even having an option for dining downstairs made such a great convenience!

Fantastic Loft

Great property and even better location. Natalie was super sweet and we enjoyed meeting her. The even better part was the Star Drug store underneath, breakfast was great and be sure to grab a chocolate peanut better shake! One of the best experiences we’ve had in Galveston.

Stellar place to stay! You’re close to great eateries and the beach.

Beautiful loft above a drug store that serves breakfast & lunch. If you’re a history buff- you’ll learn about the huge Hurricane that nearly wiped out alot of the island. Beautiful architecture is everywhere. There’s even a horse and carriage!
The seawall was constructed to withstand storms and keep the gulf waters in the gulf.
Stewart Title Co. Plaque gives amazing history of the building.
Words to live by are randomly painted on the street.
Bookstore across the street from the loft.

Magical

Once seeing this darling place, it sets the mood for your vacation, in which I can say that everything was perfect. We had a fantastic stay in your charming rental. We have told our friends about it, and we definitely will stay again. It was walking distance to The Strand and art galleries. Everything was right there. The breakfast in the drug store below was delish. It's a very quiet area in the evenings. We sat outside underneath the drug store awning during the early evening hours, had a drink, and felt the nice breeze from the ocean. It was perfect for our 20th anniversary. Thank you again for sharing this magical and charming place with us.

1st Year Anniversary Occasion

This was our 1st year anniversary and we could not pick a better place. The Star Drug Store directly underneath was a great treat for breakfast and a coke float. The room has an ambiance that is very personable and inviting to just “stay” in the room. Will definitely re-book! I attempted to upload some photos but the app is not allowing me.

Beautiful place

It was beautiful and the location was perfect for the Strand area. And Natalie had delicious strawberry cake pops waiting for us. We felt very welcomed.

Great Galveston Loft

Star Drugstore, which is really a great 50's style diner, is located on 23rd and Post Office. It is within 2-4 blocks of all the bars, restaurants and shops on the Strand, so it is a great location. There are two historic lofts above Star, and each one is beautiful, clean and functional. Natali is friendly, responsive and awesome! I highly recommend the lofts if you are planning a stay in Galveston!

Amazing Hidden Gem

This is our third stay here around the holiday season and every stay gets better! Natili is an amazing host and this loft is so much better than staying at a hotel establishment! Love the decor, location and eating at the Star Drug Store.

Best Loft Around!

We had another great stay in Galveston. Natali is an excellent property manager. We didn't need anything but she's always quick to respond to questions. The loft has the best location. You can walk to so many restaurants, galleries and bars. Can't wait to return again.

This loft is a wonderful place to stay. Short walk to anywhere in the Strand. Great local places to eat and a quick walk to the trolly for a trip to the seawall. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

We came to drop off our daughter at college and stayed the weekend. It was a perfect location. We walked everywhere and jumped on the trolley to go anywhere else, it was so convenient to have a place to relax in between outings. We will be back now that we’ve have found this gem!

"Lofty" rental

Location, location. Short walk to Strand and countless points of interest and unlimited dining options. Beautifully updated high ceiling, fully furnished open space above Historic Star Drug. Although we could have prepared meals in the full kitchen, we elected to have breakfast downstairs both mornings; food and staff were great! Two notes of caution; it is a walkup (24 steps) and premium dining establishments require trousers....lol.

Galveston Anniversary Weekend

The Loft was exactly as pictured and the Owner was the nicest lady and her restaurant downstairs was wonderful. We will definitely be going back and we have already told some friends about it.

Great Time in Galveston

We truly enjoyed our stay in Galveston Memorial Weekend. It all started with staying at the Loft and meeting Natili!!! The loft was exactly as described online and better. Very easy to get to and Natili made the experience even better. I 100% recommend staying here for a great weekend trip. Plus the Star Drug Store below is awesome. Food is great and love everyone working there. I would give this place 10 Stars!!! Thank you Natili for letting us stay and have such a great time.

Star Loft A

Everything was wonderful. We parked and didn't have to use vehicle during our stay. We were able to walk to anything around the Strand. The loft is in a great location,above Star Drug. We ate there 2 times during the stay. Natili has a great place,very clean and comfortable. And shes pretty darn awesome herself. We will be staying again.
