Welcome to a cozy and quiet holiday home near forest and water in Östergötland. The plot is 1000 square meters and has large open areas to spend time in and scenic surroundings with the forest at the junction. Start the day with a morning dip in the pool or a swim in Lake Drögen, which is 1 km away, known for its clear water and sandy beach. If you don't want to take the car, there are also bicycles available that you share with your neighbor on the same farm. The house has a large kitchen with all facilities and a washing machine, an open dining area which then opens into the living room, where there is a large sofa, TV, and tiled stove. On the lower floor is one of the bedrooms with a bunk bed and a balcony door connected to the glassed-in balcony. The bathroom has a new shower, WC and sink. The upper floor has a bedroom with a double bed and an open hall, where there are extra beds if desired. Wifi is available. A large glazed terrace with several seating groups and large glass sections that can be pulled apart where you get the feeling of nature really close. Out in the yard there is another seating area and a charcoal grill for dinner, which you like to enjoy outside during the summer's most beautiful evenings. In the middle of the yard is the pool house and the wood-burning sauna for 6 people, which is shared with the neighbor's house on the other side of the yard. The pool is 20 square meters and it is heated by the sun, there is a large patio deck with good areas for the group, so everyone has a place. Here you can enjoy the day and the atmosphere in a unique environment with scenic surroundings. The charming farm has all the possibilities for both the small and large family and pets are allowed. Below the house is the Drögenslingan hiking trail, if you follow the orange markings you will come down to lake Drögen. There is a swimming area with a beach and a barbecue area. For those of you who want to get active on the lake, you can book and rent a rowing boat and two optimist dinghies from the house owner, it is booked by both households on the farm, if it is booked you will surely agree to use the boat together on different occasions. For those who want to fish, a fishing license is required, which can be purchased in Ulrika service shop, Kinda motel Rimforsa or download the Ifiske APP. There is something to do for everyone when you plan your excursion destinations both in the nearby area or if you go into the city of Linköping 40 km away. There you can visit the air force museum, Old Linköping in the city quarter Valla, good shopping in the city and good food. For the cultural, one likes to visit the cathedral and the castle at Borggården. 10 km northwest of Linköping is the lock area known as Bergs slussar, the Göta canal's largest lock staircase. You come here to see boats closing the locks, eat good ice cream, rent a bike or take a cooling bath. In Ulrika, 3 kilometers from the cottage, there is a country store, café, museum and pottery. 12 kilometers away is Trollegater Nature Reserve, a well-visited place suitable for everyone in the family.
