Enjoy the Sälen mountains in the summer, where the slopes are green and the fishing is at its best. If you love mountain biking, there are rugged and paved bike paths to discover. The shock in Sälen is well located for both mountains, forests and experiences. Fjällbyn, which is also called Ranchen, is located below Stöten's ski slopes in its own lovely forest area with squirrels, foxes and the occasional capercaillie that can look past. The couple's cottage has a comfortable standard with an open floor plan between the kitchen and living room. The living room has a sofa, TV and dining area for four and the kitchen is adjacent. There is a lot to discover in Sälen, nearby there is a canoe to rent and paddle together on Görälven or go on a bike ride either in the mountains or in the groomed mountain bike trails. If you want more activities, pay a visit to Sälen's village and try the Fjällgolf course with 18 holes, or paddle on the Västerdalälven river one evening and maybe you will see a beaver swimming past. Visit the small town Rörbäcksnäs which offers an eldorado for cycling fans with its beautiful trails. Do not miss Experium in Lindvallen, a popular adventure pool that is suitable for all ages where you can also play bowling and go to the cinema. Let yourself discover what one of Sweden's gems has to offer even during the summer. Stöten, which is a few miles from the Norwegian border, means that you can easily visit Trysil and get a little Norwegian nature experience during your stay in the Swedish mountains.
