Overloft, Golf Resort Get Away Near Lake Monroe

Our charming golf resort get away is nestled in a private gated golf community, the Golf Resort at Eagle Pointe. Located on beautiful wooded bluffs near Monroe Reservoir, it is just 8 miles south of Bloomington and IU. The Overloft is a three bedroom, two bathroom condominium featuring lodge style accommodations and a well equipped kitchen. Includes a fusbol table, formal dining area, eat-in breakfast nook and shared deck complete with weber grill.

Coupled with its sister resort, the Overlook (property 1347947) it's a great place for small or large family reunions, or reuniting with friends. The Overlook is located on the first floor of this two unit structure.

The swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts located directly across the parking lot are not available to guests of the Overlook or Overloft as they are owned by the Eagle Bay and Eagle Bay II Homeowner's Association. Unauthorized access is unacceptable and cause for immediate removal and cancellation without a refund.

Access to the community pool at the clubhouse is available to our guests in 2023.

Everything was great except the folks on the first floor played loud music until 1 AM. Obviously you can’t help that. Enjoyed the snacks you left. We would rent again.

Great Experience for Lake Monroe Visitors!

We were extremely pleased with our stay. Our host was exceptional in their communication and helpfulness. The unit was very comfortable, very clean and inviting. So much so that we plan to book again next year!

Lake Monroe Weekend

Perfect for our weekend stay. Comfortable bedrooms and living areas. Kitchen was very well equipped. Gated access was a little confusing but quickly figured out. Proximity to the Lake and Park was great.

Eclipse stay

Wonderful place to stay. We came for the 2024 eclipse and had a wonderful time. Would be great for a group of golfers as it is on a nice golf course. Am looking forward to returning sometime.

Close to IU, but far enough out to enjoy the tranquil setting of wildlife and fall colors. Property is very clean, great communication. Will definitely stay again!

Lake trip

This was our second summer lake trip at this property. Close to lake, safe/gated community, restaurant on site, extremely responsive host. The qr code scanning to get in the gate is new and the property is still ironing out kinks. But, Paula, our host, provided 2 passes for our vehicles; this made the in/out gate much easier than initial check in.

Beautiful Place

We stayed for our son’s graduation. It was just perfect. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were lovely and the bathrooms were huge!! Kitchen was helpful for me to prepare snacks for our celebrations on campus! Paula was always so helpful and accommodating. Every morning we woke up we saw deers. Just perfect!!

Nice spot close to lake

The property was clean and there were plenty of places for us to make ourselves at home. The family renting the unit below us was incredibly polite, which made renting this shared space much easier.

Exactly what we needed for a wknd lake trip with friends. We really liked the large gathering area, safety of gated community, proximity to the lake, close dining and live music at Sahm's, and labeled light switches. The only suggestion would be a washer/dryer accessiblity. But, that minor inconvenience will not keep us from renting again.

Great house for a family or group

The space was awesome for our family to relax and enjoy the area. Tons of games and activities for the kids to keep busy. The beds were comfortable and the linens were ample and quite nice. Very close to the marina and beach. The kitchen was well equipped to cook, however you will want to bring any extras to cook with such as spices, sauces, etc. The closest market that was open is Kroger, about a 15 minute drive but it was not a problem. Would definitely stay here again, and reccomend.

Gorgeous property

The property has gorgeous views and the bedroom set up is great for multiple people or couples. There are no closets but that wasn’t an issue for us. There are a few hooks with hangers if you need to hang clothes. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Wonderful Stay

I recently stayed at this stunning property for my brother’s Bachelor party, and it was more wonderful then I expected! The property owner is very friendly and is easy to get a hold of. We had an issue with keys not arriving on time because of holiday mail, but the property owner took care of it right away. This property has everything you need to have a great time! There is a nice deck area with seating for plenty and a gas grill! The inside is beautiful with wooden beams capturing your eye as soon as you walk in. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, coffee, and seasonings you need! The cleanliness of this place was amazing, and I can’t stress enough how cozy and beautiful it was inside! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to catch an IU game, play some golf (it’s in a golf resort), or spend some time out on Lake Monroe!

Wonderful

The property was in a nice little gated neighborhood. The place was well set up with coffee, snacks, modern AC, TV, etc. Paula was very communicative up front and really helped the process.

It is great for golf play and stays, family gatherings and reunions (large and small) and get away trips. With close proximity to Lake Monroe (3 miles) we can provide accommodations for days on the lake!
