There were 16 of us staying at this beautiful villa. In addition to the pool area with its incredibly spacious outdoor kitchen and TV area, the double rooms — each with its own bathroom — were especially comfortable. Another highlight was our host, Roula, who gave us a warm welcome and was quick and easy to work with whenever we had questions. Thank you so much for letting us stay at the Villa Serenity — we’d come back in a heartbeat.

We’ve just had the best time at Villa Serenity. Roula was the most amazing host! We could not fault the Villa. The rooms are all beautifully clean & we had lovely towels, toiletries & even slippers! The pool & jacuzzi were fab, perfect temperatures, great size and loved by all ages. The outdoor kitchen & tv area were absolute winners! It was so good to cook, eat & hang out outside. There were 15 of us & we all had a fabulous time. We loved walking to the lake & swimming. Georgia’s restaurant next door is great with delicious food & lovely service. Perfect villa for a big family! Don’t hesitate to book.

Villa Serenity was the perfect place for out large group looking to experience Crete not at a resort at the beach but away from crowds and near a more authentic experience. The location was close to Lake Kournas and many of the ancient, historic sites. The owner, Roula, and her husband kept the grounds in wonderful shape and introduced us to local treasures including the nearby Georgia's Traditional Taverna. Our visit was in July and it was hot. The rooms were cool, the pool a welcome place to cool off and use the "resistance swimming" unit, and there is a lot of shade to enjoy being out. Definitely a place to enjoy a large gathering with outdoor cooking and dining as well as a large indoor place to gather as well.

We stayed at the villa with a group of 17 people to celebrate my 60th birthday; our ages ranged from 2 to 77. The stay was nearly perfect. Our hosts, Roula and Stavros, came by every morning to clean the outdoor area, including the kitchen. The pool was also cleaned daily, and our trash was taken away. Furthermore, we were treated every day to delicious cake, doughnuts, raki, or red wine—all homemade by them and absolutely wonderful. The weather was also nearly perfect, with five sunny days in October and temperatures reaching up to 26°C (79°F). We made great use of the pool and the sun loungers. The house is truly well-equipped, containing everything from a toaster to a washing machine. The surrounding area, featuring Lake Kournas, is also beautiful, and all shopping facilities are within a maximum distance of 4 km. You can also enjoy excellent meals by the lake. We also grew very fond of Georgia, who prepared a fantastic meal for my birthday celebration—everyone was absolutely delighted by it. Georgia’s taverna is right next door, and I can 100% recommend it for its delicious food and hospitality. Finally, I would like to thank Roula and Stavros once again for such a wonderful stay. Communication with them via WhatsApp or phone was exemplary, friendly, and accommodating throughout. Thank you so much for everything—Benno & family.

Beautiful villa exactly as advertised. Stand out feature was Roula the owner, she was friendly, helpful and always there if we needed her. It was my wife’s birthday while we were there so she baked us a cake. A really lovely lady and we all agreed we would come here again.

Our group of 12 had an amazing stay at Villa Serenity. The outdoor area with kitchen and pool was absolutely fantastic – perfect for our vacation. Roula was an exceptional host throughout our stay - very friendly, flexible, and helpful with everything we needed. The location is a bit outside the city center, so having a rental car was useful. However, there are nice restaurants nearby, which gave us great options for both dining out and cooking at the villa. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a spacious, well-equipped villa with a friendly and helpful host!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Host: It is important to know that the "host" is made of two entities. Posarellivillas, the management company, and Roula Stavros, the owner. The management company was responsive but not helpful with our pre-trip planning. Roula and her husband were the opposite. They were responsive, helpful and made our trip as good as it could be.Serenity Villa: the property is beautiful and suited to Crete's climate. We were there in July and each day got hotter. The rooms have excellent A/C and the property is new(ish) with comfortable beds and blackout, roll-down shades. The outdoor areas have light colored surfaces making walking barefoot fine during the day. There are areas that are shaded offering places to enjoy the day.Outdoor pool: The pool is beautiful and two youngsters improved their swimming during the visit. For active swimmers, there is a "resistance unit" that allows stationary swimming for as long as one wishes. Actually it shuts off every 10 to 15 minutes. The spa is a plus with a waterfall wall that is beautiful in the evening.Kitchen(s): The one most used is the outdoor kitchen with large dining table, refrigerator, microwave, stove top and grilling unit and dishwasher. The kitchen supplies are the best I have encountered. There is another kitchen in the upstairs unit with another large dining table. Area: It is close to Lake Kornas, a beautiful, clear lake that does get busy but is large enough. Next door is Georgia's Traditional Taverna. Excellent food.

Absolutely Perfect Stay – Couldn't Recommend More! We recently stayed at this villa with a large group of family and friends, and it was honestly one of the best holiday rentals we’ve ever experienced. The space was perfect for a big group – spacious, open, and designed with both comfort and entertaining in mind. Whether we were cooking outdoors, lounging by the pool, or just enjoying the views, everything about the villa made it feel like a true getaway. The layout was ideal for families, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out without feeling disconnected. It’s clear the villa has recently been refurbished to a very high standard – everything felt modern, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the outdoor areas were just fantastic for group meals and relaxing evenings. A special mention has to go to Roula, the owner, who was simply amazing – warm, welcoming, and always on hand if we needed anything. You can really tell she cares about her guests having the best possible experience. We’d return in a heartbeat and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and well-appointed place to stay with family or friends.

Een prachtige villa, van alle gemakken voorzien. De beheerder Roula en haar man Stavros zijn enorm behulpzaam. Je kan ze alles vragen en ze gaan direct voor je aan de slag. Ook komt ze regelmatig met wat lekkers aan: een taart voor je verjaardag, zelfgemaakte raki, dan weer een cake. Te leuk. Ook de omgeving is enorm leuk . Op loopafstand ligt Lake Kournas, heel gezellig met leuke shops en restaurantjes en op 7 minuten met de auto, het strand met leuke beachclubs. Villa Serenity is echt een aanrader. Wij gaan over 2 jaar weer!

We hebben met ons gezin van 14 personen een week doorgebracht in Villa Serenity. Het heeft al onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Een fantastisch huis voorzien van alle gemakken. Prachtig uitzicht en een heerlijk zwembad met hottub. Een grote buitenruimte met volledig ingerichte buitenkeuken. Alles was mooi en schoon en alles werkte. Onze gastvrouw en gastheer hebben hun uiterste best gedaan de villa wat eerder schoon te krijgen zodat we er eerder in konden na een heel vroege vlucht. Ze waren makkelijk bereikbaar via de app als we vragen hadden. We hebben raki en zelfgemaakte taart en koekjes van ze gekregen, heerlijk. Iedere ochtend kwamen ze heel vroeg de buitenkeuken en het zwembad schoonmaken. Fantastisch gewoon. We hebben er geen woorden voor en kijken met heel veel plezier terug op ons verblijf. Extra complimenten voor gastheer en gastvrouw! We komen graag een keer terug.
