Lovely Cotswolds getaway

This little cottage is in the perfect location in Bourton-on-the-water and was perfect for our anniversary. Our hosts were friendly, generous, and went above and beyond to welcome us into their home. Check-in was easy, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

The little forge is a beautiful cottage. It is an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The only problem we had was there was a heat wave during our visit and there was no ac. The owners are very sweet and helpful!

The accommodation was excellent, very clean, comfortable and the location was great. The welcome pack was lovely and the parking was an added bonus.

Bourton-on-Water is a wonderful village in which to spend a few days. The Little Forge was a fantastic place from which to enjoy the village. The walk into the centre of the village takes less than a five minute. The accommodation was very comfortable with modern decor in an old-world building. The host was there to meet us on arrival and was helpful throughout the stay.

We loved staying at The Little Forge. We could walk to everything in Bourton on the Water and The Slaughters. It was cozy and perfectly fit our needs.

The loveliest of stays!

I can honestly say I don’t think I have ever stayed somewhere so lovely, Little Forge was perfect for my Husband and I - not only is it beautifully designed & decorated, but it’s location is amazing with only a short stroll to the main area of Bourton on the Water. A special thanks to the owner Julie for being so warm and welcoming, and for all the little touches that ensure you have everything you need for your stay - we will definitely be booking again x

Wonderful place to stay

Little Forge is beautifully furnished throughout. The place is immaculately clean. Julie and her husband ,are such a lovely couple, nothing is to much trouble and they go that extra mile to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. Little extras such as milk, tea, coffee, were great. Everything was very high spec. Couldn’t fault it didn’t want to leave. The owners should be very proud of what a beautifully kept place it is.

4 night stay

The owner was very welcoming on arrival. The cottage had everything I needed for a short stay, with some milk, tea and coffee; plus some extras. The accommodation is of a very high standard, with comfy bed and luxurious bathroom. Perfect location. I highly recommend Little Forge Cottage.

AMAZING

This property is a perfect size for 2 people. The owners were extremely helpful in helping us park due peak season too. We walked in and it looks even better than the photos, very comfy bed and exceptionally clean. Not only this but the location of this property is one of the best in the whole town. It made it so easy to pop back to change if the temperature dropped and you were at a pub round the corner - a 4 minute walk max to the end of the shops. However even whilst being that close to the centre, there is minimal congestion going past making it still a very peaceful place to stay. Would 100% recommend to all!

A lovely place in a beautiful setting

Have stayed here before and it was still excellent. The property is the perfect size for the 2 of us and because my wife has difficulty with steps it’s ideal because there aren’t any! Clean and modern inside with everything that you need. It’s a 2 minute walk to the town with the shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and the beautiful river. The hosts Julie and Paul are lovely and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

Lovely accommodation, beautifully decorated! It is small but perfectly formed, ideal for the two of us! It had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Our host Julie was excellent, and very helpful. The property is very close to the high street, which has plenty of choice for food, drinks and shopping. The river setting in the town is lovely, and a big hit in the warm weather we had during our stay. The wider area of the Cotswolds has lots to offer. We will definitely be back!!
