Excellent location close to major bus stops. Micheal had lots of recommendations for places to eat in that area. Would recommend to anyone needing somewhere to stay in Dublin.

Nice location and convenient to our planned activities. This location had everything we needed to make our stay quite comfortable. And the communication with the hosts was excellent! Lovely place!

Room very clean and well appointed. Could use another drying rack as multi people doing laundry one night. Would highly recommend booking again.

The room was exactly what we needed for spending four days in Dublin! It was clean and we had everything we needed and even more! Communication with the hosts was quick and easy if we ever needed anything from them. Shops and stores were all either perfect walking distance or a short bus ride away which was ideal for our stay! Would definitely come back for another visit in Dublin and book with The Royal Lodge again:)

The hosts are fab. There is a great coffee shop three doors down. Parking is tough. There is only one bathroom inside the house. We never found the second bathroom. We got very lucky with the shared bathroom, but would warn other travelers that they may not get so lucky. The rooms and the house oozes charm, warmth, and character. Really the only drawback was the bathroom.

Everything was great. Check in was as described. Check in was quick and easy. The house was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was provided. Michael is the most responsive host we have ever experienced. My questions were usually answered with a matter of minutes. The house was a great mix of the new and old and was very comfortable. If we come to Dublin again, we will definitely stay here.

Location was great, the space was exactly as advertised, very comfortable and clean. Lastly the hosts were awesome, very helpful and caring, really made sure that our stay would be the best that it could be.

The front door lock was a little tricky but that's more on us than the quality off the lock! Having 2 bathrooms was certainly helpful/essential as the house was full.Water pressure was a little less than I like but I have shoulder length curly hair, which makes me picky about water pressure.The kitchen and laundry facilities were awesome, and the little sitting area outisde was really cute.Very easy to get a bus close by and walking down across the river isn't too arrduous either, in decent weather.The provided earplugs were appreciated as the busy street has its good share of sirens.And....last but not least.....the gummy bears were AWESOME. We enjoyed our stay!Laura & Bret

Such an adorable spot full of character! The rooms were a bit smaller in person than appeared in the pictures and the second bathroom was more out of the way so it was mostly one bathroom shared between all guests and made getting ready tricky at times. Would book again for the charm The owners were great, responsive and gave us great recommendations around town.

We loved our stay in the Green room! Mike’s home was so beautiful. I would recommend familiarizing yourself with bus routes or public transportation in Dublin because we did feel like it was a bit of a walk (20-25 minutes) from the city center, but the house itself was amazing.

Fantastic stay for a couple nights. Easy to find parking nearby (the parking passes were definitely worth paying for). The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was great; love the vintage decor! The bedroom door locked, which I appreciate. Wifi was useful, had a strong signal. Check-in was easy and checkout was seamless and communication with the hosts was fantastic, they replied almost immediately to all my messages. There are 2 coffee shops on the corner for breakfast and everything was easy to walk to or drive to.

The location of the house is great, north of Dublin. You can walk to the busier Temple Bar area to visit "downtown ".The bedroom is small but clean. I was allergic to something in the room . Couldn't say what though. It was hot, so I had some issues with sleeping. But we had access to the living room and kitchen which was very handy. Mike was only a text away. He gave us many tips on restaurants nearby. It would have been easier if we had not rented a car because we needed to park it. You could park in front of the house on the street but only from 7pm until 7am, which means we had to move our car early in the morning. Best you don't rent a car in Dublin. Otherwise, very good place.

Michael and Eoin were very attentive and welcoming before and during our stay. We thought the location of the home was very convenient and were able to find parking in a neighboring garage down the street. We didn’t realize by the listing that the unit has a shared bathroom with the other bedrooms, but the bathroom was very clean and we thankfully only had other guests in the downstairs room one night of our stay. Other than that, all expectations based on the listing were met and we enjoyed staying here on our first stop of our Ireland visit! Thank you, Michael and Eoin!

The Royal Lodge was very nice, very clean, well-stocked, and very cute. It is centrally located (only a few minutes walk into the city centre, with plenty of buses running). The managers of this property were very helpful and gave us lot's of information. They were also very quick to respond to questions. The only negative was, the busy street our room faced, was a little noisy at night. Renting a car in this city is NOT recommended. Parking is limited and paid-parking was a pain! We would stay at the Lodge again.

We absolutely loved our time at the Royal Lodge! We spent hours in the gorgeously decorated living room, kitchen, balcony, and our room, enjoying our beautiful home away from home. The hosts are amazing communicators, from giving easy-to-follow check-in instructions to providing many recommendations about public transport and restaurant options.It’s an easy walk to downtown, and only about a 20-minute drive away from the airport. We can’t recommend this place enough, it succeeded our expectations!

The property was located close to a bus stop, which made getting around on public transportation pretty easy. The check-in process was also straightforward, and the property was clean. Very much appreciated the interior decor as it gave the house a lot of personality. Becasue of the shared bathrooms and kitchen, a lot of the experience will depend on who else is staying at the property at the time of your visit.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in unserem wirklich royal anmutenden Zimmer. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig erreichbar und Mike&Eoin absolut großartige Gastgeber!
