In The Woods A wooded retreat within the city.

A country like oasis conveniently situated on 10 wooded acres. Guests can relax indoor or outdoor enjoying the wooded scene. The downtown area is only 5 minutes away if that’s your adventure of the day. The local bike and walking trail is just minutes from the house. A great area to relax after a visit to Mayo or Oak Leaf hospitals.

We provide a clean, well appointed house with comfortable furniture throughout each room. We maintain a pet free environment to welcome guests with allergies.

Kitchen
Make a delicious meal in the fully-stocked kitchen. i.e. a slow cooker, mixer, blender, dutch oven, pots pans and more!
If coffee or tea is your thing we have a Keurig, traditional coffee maker, coffee grinder and tea pot. We are happy to supply an assortment of k-pods, coffee and tea!

Living Room
We provide a comfortable cozy living room suitable for 5 individuals. A cozy area where our guests may enjoy high speed internet (WiFi), Smart TV, Satellite, Blu-ray DVD player, a good book and interesting conversation.

Bedrooms
Sleep soundly in one of two queen beds with cozy down comforters (seasonal), king size pillows and high end linens. The third bedroom/office has a twin XL bed with a desk and comfortable chair.

Bathroom
A separate area for the shower and toilet from the vanity.
We supply high end bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap. The first aid kit is located in the linen closet.

Basement
Laundry includes fragrant free laundry detergent, dryer sheets and fabric softener.
Large movie library and a selection of games to compliment the games located in the living room.
Folding lawn chairs and throws suitable for use outside.

Children
Parents please review all photos to make sure our small house appears suitable and safe for children. With no dedicated play area for children we ask parents to agree the space is safe and suitable for their children. Children are to be supervised inside and outside at all times. We are only licensed for 5 including children.

Yard and Property
No portable grills or fire pits.
Yard and surrounding property must be clear of all food scraps, cans or garbage at all times.
Smokers are to smoke outside discarding butts in the sand pail. Do not bring in partially smoked cigarettes etc inside.
We recommend turning on the exterior light if arriving after dark.
Hiking is allowed being respectful of the area.
We do not allow tents, trailers, campers or any other outdoor living structures.

Security
For everyone's protection, exterior-only video monitoring is in place clearly posted on the property.

Emergency
In any emergency situation i.e. power outage, water, etc
CALL first all numbers are posted. Text if not answered. Safety is priority!
Fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.
First Aid kit is in linen closet bottom shelf.
Flashlight in coat closet top shelf.
Guests assume all responsibility for any property damage, accidents, injuries, and loss of personal property during their stay.

Guest access
Key pad located on front door.
Guests have access to the entire house. There is convenient parking for two vehicles in the driveway.

Acknowledgment
All guests are to acknowledge reading and accepting the house rules & check out polices. Rules and policies are posted inside for our guests reference.

We reserve the right to ask if in acceptance of the house rules. Our apologies due to past reservations the house rules may change as needed.

House Rules and Policies;
The house rules, emergency contact information, wifi access etc are posted inside.
For everyone’s safety out-door only security cameras on premises 24/7 clearly posted on property.
We have a NO tolerance policy for false reservations, parties, gatherings, reunions, or any other social arrangements of any kind. No exceptions.
If this is unclear please contact us via the platform.
Fees may be applied up to $100 per night. With the finding of a false reservation the booking guest may be asked to cancel the reservation and exit the property.

NOT ALLOWED; re-arranging of furniture or adding furniture to suit guests needs.
Guests are in agreement that the areas are to be used as intended.
The sofa is not a bed. This would indicate our place is not a good fit.

Guests staying one night during booking must be noted and counted as a guest.
Children to be supervised 100% inside and outside for their safety.
We are ONLY licensed for 5 guests this includes children.

No food in the bedrooms. Extra cleaning charges may apply due to stained or replacement of linens.
Visiting guests are welcome, but limited.
NO pets inside or outside.

Air conditioning running...windows closed please.
Air conditioning is not to be set below 69 degrees to avoid the A coil freezing.
Access

NO SPEEDING
Please don’t run over our neighbors who enjoy the street with leisurely walks, kids on bikes, mom’s with strollers and deer just hanging out.

CHECK OUT BEFORE 11:00
Do not strip beds or ball up blankets. Leave neat and tidy
Do not wipe down appliances.
RINSE dishes and load dishwasher. Housekeeping to starts cycle.
Towels and kitchen linens place in laundry basket in basement.
Remove recycling and garbage using side door to back of house.
Close all windows and drapes.
Please do not linger in the driveway as housekeeping requires access.
