I live in the UK, and whenever I visit Sri Lanka, this is the place I always look forward to. One of the first things I noticed is that it has very few mosquitoes compared with many other areas, making it comfortable to relax outdoors, even in the evening.
Every morning I enjoy walking or jogging to the famous Keerimalai Temple, the natural springs, and the nearby beach to watch the sunrise. The fresh sea breeze, birds singing, coconut and fruit trees, and peaceful surroundings create a relaxing atmosphere that is difficult to describe—you really have to experience it yourself.
I also enjoy watching local village life, seeing farmers working in the fields and harvesting fresh produce. It reminds me of the simple beauty of nature.
Many guests come for just one or two nights but decide to extend their stay because they enjoy the peaceful environment so much. You can simply relax at the villa, enjoy our fresh groundwater relaxation pool, cook a barbecue, or spend time in the garden.
Keerimalai is quieter and generally more affordable than staying in Jaffna town. As this is a peaceful rural area, we recommend having a car or motorbike to explore the surrounding attractions, beaches, and restaurants. We are also planning to offer e-bike rentals in the future to make it even easier for our guests to get around.
