The Grünten apartment has a separate entrance on the west side.

Sleeping arrangements: The lower bunk bed is 1.40 metres wide. The large sofa can easily be converted into a bed if needed. In the bedroom, you will find a box spring bed.

The toilet and bathroom with shower are in separate rooms. A smart TV is located in the living room.

The open kitchen is functionally equipped, so you can easily cater for yourself. A dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, coffee machine, kettle, and fridge/freezer are available. You can buy delicious rolls and Allgäu delicacies at the Gunzesrieder village shop. Of course, you can also book breakfast on site.

A warm welcome to the Nagelfluhhaus Hirsch in the Gunzesrieder Valley. Families, couples, friends, and solo travellers can feel at home in this family-friendly, animal-loving environment.

Here, you can enjoy not only breathtaking views of the Nagelfluh chain and the Hörner chain but also warm hospitality in a family-run establishment.

The charm of the creaking floorboards, the Allgäu flair, the low ceiling in the restaurant area, and the old coffered ceilings in a traditional house from 1866 promise atmosphere and cosiness.

Our two dogs, rooster with hens, and tomcat delight not only the hearts of children but also enrich breakfast.

Our tomcat Willi lives in and around the house, patrols the property, and enjoys the occasional guest affection.

Our little village, surrounded by meadows, forests, and mountains in the Gunzesrieder High Valley, is perfect for enjoying the day and leaving everyday life behind. The “Hirschen” is a central starting point for attractive valley and mountain hikes as well as mountain tours. Whether on foot nearby or tours in the Allgäu high Alps, beautiful swimming lakes, cool mountain streams, fantastic skiing areas, lush meadows… with us, you will have more of everything.

And if you wonder why the surrounding mountains suddenly do not seem so high - you are at an altitude of 930 m.
