Sobre esta propriedade

Eagle's Nest- A pet friendly cabin on the river!

Welcome to Eagle's Nest, a purpose-built vacation rental cabin. It's near our Tree Top, Fish Trap and Green Castle cabins and, like them, is also river-front, sitting up high above the river with an area to walk down to the river's edge. It's part of an 18-acre "fish trap" location that was used by ancient American Indians hundreds of years ago.

Eagle's Nest is a large beautiful property with a modern beautiful exterior and interior. Hardwood floors, stainless appliances, flat-screen TVs - everything is new, luxurious and waiting for your personal enjoyment. The pictures capture some of the beauty, modern design, nature, and open spaces. Take a look at those and drink it all in!

In terms of size, Eagle's Nest can fit larger groups of 10 but would also work for a couple or small family. There are three (3) bedrooms and two (2) full bathrooms. The third bedroom is the large loft area you see in the living room pictures. There is a queen and two twin beds in that loft area. The main two bedrooms both have queen beds.

You're going to love your time here. As we work to enhance, expand and grow this property, we continue our mission to be your weekend river cabin of choice. Book now before your dates are gone!

The Eagles nest was perfect for our multi-generational weekend away. It was so peacefuland quiet, far enough away from the city to relax, but close enough to drive in for dinner. During the day, we tried our hands at fly fishing, with very little success, but it was fun to wade through the river. Water level was pretty low, so we couldn't kayak, but we may book again in the spring to give it a shot. In the evenings, we enjoyed the hot tub and the screened in porch protected us from mosquitos. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet retreat, but if you want to visit the river, be prepared for the 103 steps to get there. In the fall, bring watershoes to help navigate the riverbed. The furniture was very comfortable, and there were plenty cookware, dishes and utensils. No need to bring any. We had absolutely no complaints.

Had a great stay over the Christmas holiday! Beautiful cabin that is exactly as described. Fire pit was nice, and the views and sunrises can’t be beat. Living room needs some lamps/better lighting. And the cabin needs new pots and pans. But those are minor issues in comparison to what a wonderful time we had. We will definitely be returning to Fish Trap Village!

Peaceful Holiday Getaway

We felt so relaxed staying at Eagle’s Nest Cabin. Highlights were the soothing sounds of the river; the lovely views; and the clean accommodations that had everything we needed. This location was a convenient starting point for Luray and other caverns and Shenandoah NP. We also enjoyed just staying in and enjoying the peace and quiet all around us. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Eagles Nest in Luray. I booked this trip as a special getaway for my husband’s 60th birthday, and it truly did not disappoint. The home itself is very spacious, with stunning views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. There’s a Walmart about 10 minutes from the cabin, which is convenient for picking up anything you may need —including a fishing license. While you don’t need a license to fish from the riverbank (private property), however you will need one if you venture elsewhere. The neighboring cabins are far enough away that we still felt we had plenty of privacy. It’s worth noting that the riverbank and fishing areas are shared with nearby guests. There are about 95 steps down to the river, which could be challenging for some, but there is also an alternate access path near the driveway that’s easier to navigate.Communication with the host was incredibly easy—they were responsive, friendly, and helpfulOverall, I would definitely recommend the Eagles Nest for a relaxing getaway and would stay there again.

Terrific, Quiet Retreat

We were only in town for a couple days for a wedding, and this cabin was the perfect setup for us. We traveled with an older relative who was easily able to get in and out of the cabin and really appreciated having everything on the first floor. Everything was very comfortable, the cabin was extremely clean, and the host was very helpful and accommodating. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone with family and friends of all ages, as it seemed there was plenty to keep kids entertained, too.

Annual moms trip perfection

Perfect quiet get away for 7 friends looking to reconnect. The water was beautiful and we loved being able to set up our large tube for an anchored float right off the launch. Sat in the screened in porch and watched a storm blow over then soaked in the hot tub. Overall just a perfect trip.
