Gorgeous lakefront log home on secluded cove with private beach and boat dock

This very contemporary log home is a lakefront property on 2.6 acres of woods with 1200 feet of shoreline. This cove is peaceful and quiet with breathtaking views of Lake Monticello, South Carolina's cleanest lake. The property's beach and large dock is very private - perfect for swimming, fishing, sunbathing, or relaxing and watching beautiful sunsets. Jet skis are not permitted on the lake but we provide paddleboards, kayaks, canoes & tubes for your useage. The pontoon boat is also available for rent. Dogs are welcome!

The house has a large wraparound deck with patio furniture and gas grill for dining or enjoying the outdoors and views. There is also a covered porch and screened porch on the back deck, with comfy furniture for napping, reading or relaxing. A fire pit/conversation area is out back close to the house, ready for s'mores making - and provided is a campfire popcorn popper! And a corn hole set is available for use.

The interior of the house is spacious and comfortable with the wonderful smell of cedar logs! The living room has plenty of seating with Direct TV and gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything imaginable including spices and a large fridge. The dining table seats 10 people plus barstools at the island. Washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Half bath downstairs.

There is a master bedroom downstairs with queen bed, walk-in closet and bath with shower and garden tub. New furniture, bedding and tv. It opens to private screened porch. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, each with 2 queen beds and tvs. Another full bath with shower, tub and 2 sinks. Also a double futon and loft area. All mattresses are new and very comfortable. Linens and plenty of towels are provided. Instant hot water heater for unlimited hot water. Full grounds security system to ensure privacy.

Phenomenal fishing for many species and superior water quality. Several people ask if there are any alligators in this lake like others in the south but because Monticello is a reservoir and does not have a waterway feeding into it, there are absolutely NO GATORS!
