Enjoy this charming 4-bedroom home on 25 secluded acres in picturesque Middletown Springs, Vermont. The beautifully landscaped property includes meadows, forest and a 3/4-acre swimming and fishing pond with dock and rowboat. The children will enjoy hours of fun the backyard play structure with sandbox and the tree swing. The expansive rear deck has comfortable table and chairs, Adirondack chairs, and a chaise lounge from which to enjoy the gorgeous southwesterly views and the endless sunset over the pond.

This house features 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a large family/dining room with a stone fireplace and picture windows with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains. The separate living room has a lovely view of the flower gardens is equipped with a stereo system with tape/CD and TV, VCR, as well as books, toys and games for all ages. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and the bathroom shower has safety handrails and a shower seat.


The huge upstairs master suite has a king-size bed, walk-in closet, shower and Jacuzzi tub. Large windows provide lovely views of the property and distant mountains. The second upstairs bedroom has view windows and queen-size bed. The quaint third bedroom has two poster twin-size beds. Full-size 'Aero' mattresses and a futon couch/bed in the living room can provide extra beds when necessary. For little tykes a porta-crib, baby swing and bassinet are also available. Linens are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. The home has a washer/dryer and housekeeping can be arranged for an extra charge.

Due to a busy rental schedule, during summer months of late June, July and August rentals are usually weekly Saturday to Saturday. If you are interested in a shorter rental during the summer months, please contact the owner for consideration. The rest of the year, dates are more flexible.

We all gave it a 10. We live in Vermont but like to get away from responsibilities annually and this place was perfect. They’ve thought of everything. The pond was the highlight for the grandkids and the spacious living areas were perfect for us all to have room to relax. We didn’t use the game room in the basement because we couldn’t get the light to work but that made no difference to us. There were paper towels, tp, coffee filters, plenty of dinnerware and serving bowls. The deck is great and the house stays cool thanks to the nice tree coverage. We hope to be welcomed back.

Amazing house

This is a spectacular, comfortable, clean and spacious home- we had a fantastic week of winter hikes and reading by the fire.House had everything needed for a relaxing stay- well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, incredible view and fireplace! Would love to come back in summer!

We've stayed here multiple times over the past 20 years. It's our favorite vacation spot. Love the pond, the house, the deck. Got to see a Blue Heron. Discovered the Slate Valley Trail. Played golf twice at Lake St. Catherine Country Club.

Great weekend

We came with 2 other families for a hockey tournament in Rutland. Everyone had a great time. A nice warm fire in the fireplace was the perfect end to a day in the rink. Christina was extremely responsive with all of our requests and questions. We would all stay here again.

Peaceful escape in VT

This property is absolutely beautiful and the quiet was a wonderful change from our normal bustling lives. There was plenty of space for the 11 of us and all ages enjoyed themselves. We loved the shelves with a variety of books, board games puzzles, and toys. We would definitely go again!

Peaceful

Everything summer should be. Perfect setting for our family to unwind and enjoy being with each other. House was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The pond was perfect for floating - the Adirondack chairs under the trees perfect for book reading - the extensive deck, perfect for dining outside. We will be back.

Loved peaceful spot

Beautiful house and deck, grounds. All supplies, bedding provided. The kids enjoyed the pond. We all enjoyed the walking trails. Very quiet except for thunder!!. The entire group had a very good time together. This is the 20th year we have done a family week. The oldest grandchild is now 23, youngest is 10. We would recommend this property. 👌

Would leave in the morning on our motorcycles and be back for dinner! Spent the evening around a fire pit enjoying the outdoors! Do it again the next day! Nice place to go and relax! Everything we needed to get by that week was there. Would go back again no problem!

Quaint stay away from the hustle and bustle

This property was such a wonderful place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend away. Some of us went skiing in ludlow while others drove around and found fun shops and places to eat. There is a lot to do if you’re willing to drive a little, but the house itself is well-equipped with everything you’d need for a staycation as well. We were all wowed by how amazing this home was and how comfortable we were from the minute we stepped in. Recommend to anyone looking for a fun getaway to a beautiful home in a private neighborhood!

Amazing house

Great house with everything you need in it, plus huge backyard with a pond and fire pit. During our stay we needed a grill that was put away for the winter. Christina and her helper Rachel sorted it out in a matter of a few hours and made our stay unforgettable! Definitely would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time in Vermont!

Gorgeous location, roomy and comfy house-highly recommend!

We stayed here over Christmas with four kids ages 5-14 and three adults. The house is much bigger inside than we expected and we loved the layout. Had a wonderful stay!
