For those looking to explore the waters, please note that while fishing is a popular pastime, it is permitted only in the fjord and is strictly prohibited in the Lærdalselva River. Additionally, there are no on-site rentals for boats, kayaks, or SUPs. The best time to visit is between May and September, when the weather is mild and most attractions are open. While the park is a hub for activity, please keep in mind that electric bike rentals and mini-golf are not available on-site. Guests can enjoy local cuisine at the restaurant Strandsitjaren, which opens its season in late March, offering a cozy spot to relax after a day of adventure. Accommodation options cater to a variety of preferences and budgets. Guests can choose from well-equipped cabins (for 2 to 7 people), modern apartments ideal for couples or small families, and compact economy rooms with private bathrooms.
