A wonderful detached cottage, located in the vibrant market town of Glossop on the edge of the Peak District National Park.. 2 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Smart TV, Sofa Bed (Double) (One Adult Only)
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Gas Cooker, Range, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 18 steps in the garden.. Tucked away in the picturesque town of Glossop, this compact and cosy one-bedroom cottage is the ideal base for exploring the breathtaking Peak District National Park.
Perfect for couples, solo travellers, or small families, it features a comfortable double bedroom and a handy sofa bed in the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, all designed to make the most of its snug, yet well-thought-out space. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay, and the living area offers a relaxing spot to unwind after a day out in the hills. While there’s no private parking, on road parking is available nearby. To the rear, a multi-tiered garden provides a lovely space to enjoy your morning coffee al fresco.
Glossop is a vibrant market town on the edge of the Peaks, combining traditional charm with modern amenities. Enjoy its selection of cosy pubs, independent cafés, excellent restaurants, and local shops, not to mention a lively market scene. Walkers and nature lovers will be spoiled for choice, with trails such as the Longdendale Trail, Snake Pass, and sections of the Pennine Way all close by.
For gentler strolls, Manor Park and Howard Park offer peaceful green spaces in town. Glossop train station is just a 15-minute walk away, with regular services to Manchester (approximately 30 minutes), making it easy to enjoy a day in the city before retreating to the tranquillity of the High Peak.
