Traditional 2 bedroom farmhouse style villa with private swimming pool and secluded garden, situated in the tranquil Algarve countryside, with panoramic views.

The Quinta is a spacious 2 bedroom villa set within a large garden with private swimming pool, situated in a rural area between the city of Silves, and the market town of Sao Bartolomeu de Messines in the central Algarve. The private grounds offer guests their privacy, peace and relaxation, as well as stunning views to the coast from its elevated position in the foothills. The perfect place to enjoy tranquility, but with all amenities just a short drive away.
This characterful villa is furnished to a high standard, including elegant antique furniture. It has a home from home feel, with the high ceilings and traditional terracotta floors of a traditional Algarvean farmhouse.

The lounge is spacious and dual aspect, with large windows and doors to the covered terrace, pool and garden. There are 2 large comfy sofas and an arm chair, TV and DVD player, plus a beautiful open fireplace.

The kitchen is a well equipped, traditional Portuguese style kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and toaster. There is an adjoining 'snug' area with log burner and doors to a fabulous conservatory, offering a relaxing place to enjoy the Algarve climate throughout the year.

The bedrooms are spacious and light, both with double beds. The main bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom, There is also a family bathroom.

Outside, there is a wonderful covered terrace area, perfect for BBQ's and alfesco dining. The garden is completely secluded.
There are shallow steps leading to the pool area, which is surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers. The pool and garden offers amazing views to the south, across the Algarve countryside to the coast.

Free Wi-fi is provided via broadband internet.

The house is self catering. Toilet paper will be left for the first day, and a bin bag too. You will need to bring or purchase more.

Also, please note that charcoal for the Barbecue is not provided, but you can buy in all local supermarkets.

Car hire, which we can arrange, is recommended.

Bedrooms - BEDROOM 1 is a double bedroom and en-suite shower room. BEDROOM 2 is a double bedroom overlooking the garden.

Bathroom - En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus family bathroom.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - All towels are provided and will be changed on a regular basis. Bed linen is changed weekly. A mid-week maid/cleaning service is provided for bathroom cleaning and other light duties.

The villa has a private swimming pool, with south-facing pool area for sunbathing with sun loungers. Also a south facing covered terrace, for alfresco dining. The terrace and pool area has superb panoramic views of the countryside. The garden is private and secluded.

The golden beaches and tourist areas of Carvoeiro, Armação de Pera, Ferragudo to name but a few are within 20-25 minutes drive, with many other coves and beaches within 30 minutes.
There are many fabulous clifftop walks along this stretch of coastline.

Slightly further afield are the West Coast beaches, perfect for surfing, and only a 45 minutes drive via the motorway.

The new Amendoeira Golf Course and Silves Pestana Golf Resort are just 10 minutes drive.
The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 25 minutes drive.
Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.
Located only 40 minutes from Faro airport the villa is an ideal base from which to explore all the Algarve - 20 minutes to the coast, 10 minutes to golf, 25 minutes and the famous Algarve shopping with its designer shops, cinema, food court and huge supermarket .
Right on the villa's doorstep are the rolling countryside with its fantastic views and walks. Perfect for family or friends to spend time together and enjoy Portugal.

The historic town of Silves is approx. 10 minutes driving distance by car where there are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops.

Two big water parks (Slide and Splash and Aqualand) are within 15 minutes drive, and Zoo Marine for the whole family within 20 minutes drive.

The villa is an ideal base for golf, walking, cycling, horse riding, surfing, bird watching and tennis holidays or just chilling out.

Car hire is recommended. For those not wishing to drive, we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation.

Our friendly English speaking staff are on hand to welcome you, assist you when necessary and recommend places to visit. We never intrude on your privacy but are on hand to help out 24/7 if anything goes wrong. Your holiday is important to us.

As a small family business we look after a few villas in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the villa before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the villa. We will provide you with a list of fabulous and cheap recommended restaurants and places worth a visit. We can also tell you which places to avoid!!

A cot is provided at the property. High chair is available on request for a small additional charge, please enquire.
