Welcome to the Marriott Aruba Surf Club.

I am a Owner. You will get a reservation which you will be able to view directly on Marriott's web site.

While this is a new listing I have over 250 reviews on my other VRBO pages. My goal is to offer superior customer service. I am always available for my guest when ever they need even when your at the resort if you have any questions or need anything please don't hesitate to email or call me. Why rent from a broker when you can go direct with the owner.

Easy to find , beautiful property , check-in was very easy . Staff at check-in were very pleasant, explained everything clearly and were super accommodating . The rooms were exactly as described and very clean , balconies over look pool area and Lazy River . Both were clean and well mamaged ,the Spy Glass tower itself is centrally located to beach with a variety of little restaurants and cute coffee spots. We didnt spend time in Casino as we aren't gamblers but we did walk to Palm Beach & Bugaloos Peir , its about a 15 min walk down the beach but driving only took minutes with ample parking on public lot across from RIU and Barcelo resorts . We did spend our time at Palm Beach "DePalm Pier" as we love the gentle breeze , calm waters and laid back environment. The wind at Marriot beaches was gusting during our stay and that end does have fishing , many boats come & go (which is fine just a heads up to anyone staying) the beach itself at that end is also much smaller and crowded .

Last Stay At the Surf Club

we have stayed at the Surf Club 4 previous times but each time things get a little worse. Upon Check In they could not find our reservation and then when they did said we should have checked in 2 days earlier even though i had the reservation paper work, this went on for about an hour - in their off season?? Garden view Room was over looking a parking lot on the second floor over top of the lobby. the worst room we have had there by far. Ask for a change or an upgrade - answer No other rooms available - again in there off season?? we reserved one of the back palapa's for a week which you can do in the off season, but each morning found a different group in it. i asked the Palapa manager what's up and she had no record of us renting it- as i showed her all of the reservation/payment papers and she is the one i rented it from on arrival. thank Goodness this was not the busy season as it would have been a mess!!! i guess as the Surf Club becomes more popular the once nice amenities and services of the complex fade.

Great Place to Stay

The Marriott Surf Club is an excellent place to stay. The property is spacious and clean and the location is excellent.

Unapologetic

The apartment was nice, but not fully functional as a 2 bed. The second bedroom room bath tub was full of limescale. Staff were fixing a leakage when we arrived and although fixed and area cleaned, the room smelt damp. We ended up staying in the main bedroom, using the living room sofa bed and the shower room there, which was not ideal. Additionally the resort had suspended cleaning so the rooms were not cleaned, they also started restricting towels provided for the resort facilities. Resort said they had made owners aware but we were not informed. It was disappointing that the host was very argumentative, when a simple apology would have been acceptable to us. This is not what we had expected, and did to some extent dampen the enjoyment of our holiday, our first after 2 years of Covid lockdowns,

Guest booked last minute at a sold out property. Sometimes things need to be repaired on property which is out of our control as owners. Unit was totally functional. Cleaning done during stay was taken away during Covid to prevent the spread of Covid which is meant to protect our renters. It has since been reinstated. As far as the towels go as owners we were not made aware and the hotel is very often to blame the owners. There were plenty of towels since none of my other guests complained and I am confident the towels were not an issue. Had they been an issue other renters would have complained. I send down a tremendous amount of reservations every year and my hundreds of five star reviews across all my listings speak for themselves. Sometimes we get a renter who just simply not happy and no matter what you do as an owner they are not satisfied. With that said to all my future renters I am always a phone call email or text away and I am eager and happy to help from the time of booking till post stay. I look forward to continue to help people book their vacations so that they can build memories for years to come.

Excellent!

We had the best time at the Surf Club! Our condo was perfect and very spacious. Having a full kitchen was a plus and the in unit washer and dryer was great to have too. We loved the place and everyone was super nice!

Everything was awesome! The resort was amazing and check in was easy. The weather, beaches, restaurants, entertainment and excursions were great! Had a blast with two other couples that are owners. Missing 1 o'clock bingo (which our group won three times during our stay), 2 o'clock happy hour and floating on the lazy river and ocean. It couldn't have been any better! We will be back.

Aruba is a beautiful island! The room is nice but far from the beach.

We had a great time, but we were disappointed that we were so far from the beach. In addition, the lazy river is amazing but it would have been nice to know that you need to bring your own floats. The weather was great, the beach was beatutuful but next time I would be sure to be closer. We stay in the Spy Glass tower and we were practically on the main road. The staff were very nice and the property is very clean.
