Icicle Riverhaus just 4 miles from downtown Leavenworth and located on the stunning Icicle River. With the living room & 2 large decks facing the Icicle River you cannot get much closer to the water! The Icicle Valley is the hub of Leavenworth's recreational opportunities. Icicle Riverhaus is a short .25 miles from  the Snow Lakes Trailhead and minutes from other amazing hiking trails as well as rock climbing, Leavenworth Golf Course and many other activities. Icicle Riverhaus offers 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, wood stove,  a fully remodeled kitchen, laundry, 2 decks, WI-Fi & Cable.  Enjoy every season at Riverhaus!

Please note that Maxiumum occupancy is 6 guests (this includes infants & children) per Chelan County regulations.

Wha a beautiful home and location! We absolutely loved our stay and had a wonderful time. The look and sound of the rushing river was so peaceful. The kitchen might be the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had (and we’ve stayed in many rentals over the years. Clean, comfortable beds and gorgeous views. We will definitely be back.

Great snowy getaway.

My family were looking for a Leavenworth stay around Christmas and the Riverhaus was perfect. It's close to the town but also far enough away for peace and quiet. Can't wait to return.

Icicle Creek house

Perfect location! The house also was perfect for us - though the fridge smelled of fish. I would highly recommend this place however.

Icicle charmer

Very nice cabin right on the icicle river. The deck was fantastic and the rushing water induced relaxation and a little nap. Cabin was probably big enough for 8 people. Kitchen was nice and bathrooms were more than adequate. Beds were comfortable. Close to town but not too close.

The Good: The property was small, but well setup for the 6 of us. It was quiet. The scenery was amazing, the fireplace was warming and fun. The kitchen was well stocked. The place generally was, while older, in very good shape. The Not As Good: Finding it in the dark is tough. The parking is super tight. it's a bit away from town, but that's clear from when you book it. It was very expensive - what isn't these days?

Wonderful location/view

We four "gals" really enjoyed sitting on the two decks overlooking the beautiful Icicle River (one of us even fly fished!). The home is lovely, with absolutely everything you will need (besides food and clothes). Our only issue was we had a week of very warm temps and two of the bedrooms (the ones without AC wall units) were really too warm to sleep in. So, if you plan on going during hot months, only count on two bedrooms that are sleepable during hot, hot days.

White Christmas in a beautiful cabin

I wanted to leave a short positive review because it is so well deserved. We are from South Florida and wanted so badly for a white Christmas and to actually need to wear a jacket as odd as that may sound for some. The property was just as advertised and me and my family were in awe every day at the beauty surrounding us and how well positioned the cabin was to the town and yet providing an element of remoteness and privacy. The cabin was clean and very well taken care of. The management company even provided us a small Christmas tree to make our Holiday meaningful. For me, the icing on the cake was the amazing river behind us and the fireplace which added to the ambiance and definitely helped heat. Thank you for a memorable white Christmas in a story book setting! I may be back next year!

Spectacular

VERY happy with this rental. The property was better than expected. The house was comfortable and well supplied. The location was spectacular - better than the pictures. I can definitely recommend this property. We may return.

Icicle River House in June

House was furnished with heavy upholstery and shag carpets. Heavy musty odor. Upstairs was very dark, no natural light. Small biting insects able to pass through the window screens on our second day, kept all the windows shut thereafter. Nice decks outside,but river noise very loud there.

Unique location

Quirky cabin in a unique location with deck over the river! We loved the fire, spiral staircase, high-stool bar for meals and decoration. Great location within few miles drive of Leavenworth. We drove on up the road to Icicle Gorge trailhead for amazing loop walk in the woods beside the river. Fantastic place to stay at the end of our American adventure.

Cozy and quaint getaway cabin

Our group of five absolutely loved the cabin. Truly beautiful inside and what a location! How can you beat being right on the Icicle River? Loved hearing the rushing water from the house. And great that the house is set back from the main road. The island / bar in the kitchen was the perfect location for dinner and playing board games. The living room is very warm and inviting. The house is in great condition and very well-made. A lot of care and thought went into the design and construction of the home. One minor suggestion - the bed in the smaller first-floor bedroom is incredibly uncomfortable and should be replaced. The oddly-oversized mattress topper is hard as a rock. Just a thought. Would absolutely rent again. In fact, a friend already asked for the rental listing based on the few photos we shared. Hope to plan another trip with this rental as our destination. Thanks very much.

Lots of charm, just ok beds

We stayed here as two small families with little kids over New Years. We had a pretty unfortunate situation where the pipes froze and we had no running water, but this was beyond the control of the owner and the property manager was very responsive and ultimately helped relocate us after the 2nd night. This place has lots of charm and an incredible setting, well stocked kitchen. My only complaint for the home itself is that while two of the beds were pretty comfortable, the other 3 were extremely strange firm, thick foam mattresses that I would have hated to sleep on. They could use a real bedding refresh. My other suggestion is just to go through Leavenworth Great Escapes directly! They were so helpful and accommodating with our problems. VRBO had terrible customer service and said they’d call me back *within 72 hours* (eg the entire length of my stay) to help with our issue with the rental. I can’t believe I paid them a fee- I will probably never use VRBO again. They never did call me back!

Christmas vacation

This house was absolutely incredible. Even more magical in person. The sound of the river roaring from the back deck, the warm welcoming cabin feel, and the location is absolutely perfect. It was a winter wonderland. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We will be returning!!

Beautiful location

This was a wonderful property for our friends' group. Everything was as descripted and pictured in the listing. We could understand the requirements based on the secluded location of the cabin group. Only hiccup was finding the secluded home and the one-way road in and out -- we wondered what would happen if we came across a car coming the other direction! Didn't happen, so no worries. The riverfront location was exceptional.

Great Cabin and Location

This cabin was in the perfect location for us to drive into town. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The outdoor space right off the river was great and relaxing. Well provided instructions from the property manager to get to the cabin as it is a bit off the main road. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location between River and rocks.

Comfortable place with a cabin feel. Well equipped and lovely deck over the raging creek. Upstairs bedrooms accessed by circular staircase not recommended unless surefooted.
