After days in the fresh sea air, you’ll love returning to the cosy living room to curl up on the sofa with a good book or watch some TV, with a wood-burner-effect gas fire to keep you snug on chilly evenings. Prepare hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners in the country-style kitchen, and raise a toast to your day as you dine at the family table. On fine days, fire up the BBQ and make the most of the pretty garden. When bed is calling, head upstairs to the two bedrooms – one double, one with bunk beds for two on the first floor. You’re spoilt for a choice for a day at the coast, with the resorts of Hunstanton and Wells-next-the-Sea both within 12 miles, and a delightful coast road that features walking trails, nature reserves, farm shops and gastro pubs along its pretty route. The stately homes of Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Holkham Hall are all within 11 miles.
