This detached, traditional Welsh stone cottage is accessed via a track that can be narrow in places, with its remoteness and ruggedness all part of its appeal. Original features jockey with modern furnishings for attention, but it all blends seamlessly thanks to a warm, welcoming arrangement. The living room, complete with wooden beams and inglenook fireplace, enjoys views of Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon, while the kitchen/diner acts as a key refuelling station between active days out. The front porch is handy for breathing new life into battle-weary clothing, while the comfortable king-size bedroom and twin bedroom nearby are served by a modern shower room. The views from the grassy garden will be the envy of many, while a mountain stream at the rear of the cottage is ideal for soothing tired lower limbs.


The cottage’s close proximity to Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon means guests can be some of the first to reach the summit via Pen-y-Pass if conditions are favourable. Llyn Padarn and Padarn Country Park (3 miles) are fantastic for cycling, watersports and relaxing journeys on foot, with the latter home to the National Slate Museum. Caernarfon Castle lies 12 miles from the cottage, while the sand and pebble beach at Dinas Dinlle (16 miles) offers dramatic views of the Isle of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula
