SOL is one of our 5 suites on the property and has a luxurious king bed, a full kitchen and bathroom.
It has a amazing view of the beach and direct access to the terrace overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Located on a quiet beach, you will enjoy air conditioning and ceiling fans as you listen to the gentle sounds of the surf on the beach.
There is on-site, secure parking, large swimming pool and outdoor shower.
The property has a private walled beach area, for the enjoyment of our guests.
Towels, shampoo, body wash are provided.

Paradise!

This place is amazing! Perfect location---on the beach and in walking distance to restaurants, shops, the plaza, etc. The landscaping is beautiful, the pool--immaculate, the private beach was perfection. Our suite was nicely appointed with everything you need for your stay. JR and Rick, the hosts, were fantastic and treated us like family and were so helpful in recommending places, drivers, etc. Absolutely will be back!

Vida Chelem is an amazing place to stay, if you want to spend some time in Chelem. Clean, just as the pictures show it, perfect. The property manager Arturo, is thee absolute best person!

Fantastic location and place!

Loved the place. Right on white beaches. Alturo was a wonderful host and was there to provide anything we needed. Very secure location yet near everything. Recommend this place anytime. I would stay here again if I wasn’t buying a house here.

Gorgeous!

We stayed in the SOL room for 4 nights, and having nothing but wonderful things to say. Arturo is on sight and is so friendly and very informative about the area. The bed was comfy, great amenities for the kitchen, and you could not possibly have a better view. Short walk to everything you could need! Highly recommend.

Peaceful, Relaxing Gem

The grounds were stunning, the accommodations spotless. Communication was very good with the owners even at 2 am in the morning when we arrived because of delayed flights. Rick and JR were out of the country for a family emergency but Christina took amazing care of us. I fell in love with her. She was so attentive and sweet. We had a language barrier but google translate kept us communicating. We will be back!

A Hidden Gem

Our 5 day stay was much too short! Everything about Vida Chelem was fantastic; from the clean, beautifully landscaped courtyard and cool inviting pool, to the spacious apartment with every amenity. And of course, the ocean. Gorgeous turquoise waters just outside your door, with constant waves lulling you to sleep either in a hammock or the large comfy bed. The town is friendly and inviting but most of all our host Arturo was amazing! From the moment we arrived he made us feel right at home. He drove us around town, took us to local coffee shops (SO delicious!!), and really got to know us as people. We think of him as our newest friend. He even helped us get our Covid 19 tests that we needed to reenter Canada, and when we were standing at the airport check in still with no results, Arturo came through by phoning the facility for us and having them text our negative results over. Bless his heart. He didn't have to do any of those things, and he certainly didn't want any recompense for anything. Nor would he accept anything but thanks. He has restored my faith in humanity. Thanks Arturo and Vida Chelem for a truly great holiday.

Wonderful stay and staff

A quick long weekend for my wife and I. Property was clean and perfectly situated on the beach within walking distance of restaurants and shops in Chelem. Arturo, the property manager can also help arrange car service at a very reasonable rate. Overall, we would definitely visit again. The morning views combined with the beautiful sunset makes this property a little gem.

Beautiful

Vida Chelem was a perfect place for a get-a-way! Right on the water with stunning views of the gulf! Everything from booking to checkout was easy! The hosts are super friendly, and helpful! Would definitely stay again! But next time it will be for much longer!

Great view, value and service

This place is a gem, great value for the price. Our unit, Mar, was so close to the surf that at high tide on a windy day we had fine droplets of water on the screen door. Sunsets from the spacious veranda were spectacular. Wi-Fi was strong enough for streaming. The furnishings were attractive and comfortable with thoughtful extras such as beach towels, flip flops for the beach and condiments in the kitchen. Arturo was quick to satisfy our every need including lining up a great driver to take us to our next destination. The town is not as up-scale as other ocean-front destinations in Mexico. But We found restaurants we liked and stores with basic provisions. We also took a collectivo into Progresso (50 cents U.S.). We will return on our next trip to Mexico.

A Lovely Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days at Vida Chelem. The apartment is clean and modern. The view from the Verandah is beautiful. We also found the village of Chelem peaceful and pleasant. Highly recommended!

Fantastic

Was an amazing stay, quiet, all stores, restaurants were close by, the weather affected the beach at the time but I'm sure when it's nice out the beach is perfect. The shower was small if you're over 5'5 and the bed could be better...but we'd definitely go back!

Nice waterfront 4plex

Great location on the beach in a peaceful small town. Property was clean with basic amenities. We had some hiccups with plumbing and extended maintenance work while we were there but the property managers were also very helpful in arranging some transportation and tour opportunities. I would stay here again as it was quite reasonable considering the beautiful location.

Has wonderful huge porch right next to calm surf. Rental was clean and had a comfortable king bed. Facility managers were friendly and attentive to our needs. Weather was sunny and in the low 80s every day we were there in early February. Recommend that leaky high flow shower head be replaced with a new lower flow model that won't overflow the drain.

Clean friendly staff.

We were able to relax nicely. I think this is the right place to go if you want to recharge your batteries. Beautiful view, gorgeous breeze, hammock to rest, it wast just magical. Returning next year.

Very nice location, next to the water/beach, friendly neighbors & quiet neighborhood

Kim (the manager) and her husband Stan were wonderful & so very helpful if I had questions or needed anything. The beach/water is right out the back patio, guests in the other units were friendly and very nice. The property was furnished & decorated very nicely & was very comfortable. Close to other towns such as Progreso and it was fun to drive around the area. The only issues we had were for a short time the AC & hot water were not working but they got addressed ASAP. We had a very enjoyable & relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at Vida Chelem! The facilities were clean and neat, the beachfront was great and its proximity to the town of Chelem where just about every thing was within walking distance was a real bonus. Any issues we encountered were minor and were promptly dealt with by Kimberly, Stan and the local contractors as well as the Owner, Rick. Would recommend to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, convenient and friendly accommodations without a huge price tag! Would be a great place for groups who travel together!
