Welcome to our cosy, centrally located apartment in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed getaway with friends, family, or a romantic break for two.
The Space:
This lovely two-bedroom Victorian townhouse apartment sits on the second floor and overlooks the gardens of Shakespeare’s Birthplace — you couldn’t be more central. Step outside and you’re only a couple of minutes from Stratford’s High Street, with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, while the Royal Shakespeare Theatres are about a ten-minute walk away.
The apartment had a full refresh in February 2024, with new carpets and décor throughout, giving it a fresh and welcoming feel. It sleeps up to four people and includes secure parking at the back of the property.
The open-plan living area is a comfortable spot to unwind after exploring the town. There are two soft sofas and a Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+. A pine dining table with sheepskin-covered chairs makes a great place for meals or planning your next day out. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer, and washing machine.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed with a super-comfy mattress, soft bedding, and a full wardrobe. The second bedroom includes a single bed with a pull-out second single, ideal for one adult, two kids, or two friends who don’t mind a cosy setup. Please let us know if you’d like the extra bed made up before you arrive.
The bathroom features a bath and rainfall shower — great for a relaxing soak or a quick refresh before heading out for dinner or a show.
Guests have access to free, secure parking behind the property via a shared driveway with a coded gate. Everything you need is within walking distance, including cafés, bars, restaurants, and shops. Local buses stop on Bridge Street, about a five-minute walk away. Long-distance coaches arrive at Riverside Coach Park in ten minutes, and the train station is a 15-minute walk.
Families with young children are very welcome, though you’ll need to bring your own travel cot or high chair if required. Please note that the apartment is on the second floor and only accessible by stairs. If stairs are an issue, we also manage a ground-floor apartment in the same building — just ask for details.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
Guest Access:
Guests enter the property through the main door of the building, which has a secure coded lock. The apartment itself is accessed via a lockbox located by the door, containing the key for your stay. Full instructions and the entry code will be provided before arrival.
You’ll also have use of the free, secure parking space behind the property (shared driveway with a coded gate). Everything in town — cafés, shops, restaurants, and the theatres — is just a short walk away.
Other Things to Note:
We’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out for a small fee, subject to availability — perfect if you’d like a little extra time to relax.
An additional parking space can also be arranged for a fee.
Please make these requests in advance, as early or late check-in times and extra parking spots can’t always be guaranteed.
