Alida Holiday Home is located inside a residential complex (Residence), with other homes nearby.
Access through the main gate is shared with other residents/guests of the complex, but once inside, the apartment is entirely yours:
• exclusive access to the whole apartment (ground floor)
• all rooms and amenities are fully dedicated to you
• the spaces described in the listing are for private use, for a quiet stay with no interference

• Mosquitoes in warm seasons
As in many seaside and countryside areas in Sicily, mosquitoes may be present during the summer months, especially in the evening.
We recommend keeping the mosquito screens closed in the evening and, if you wish, using personal repellents.
• Beach & neighborhood in high season
During the peak summer period, the beach and the surrounding homes can be busier.
Despite this, the home maintains privacy and independence, set in an orderly and quiet residential context.
• Distance home → “Renella Beach”
Renella Beach is easily reachable in about 5 minutes on foot.
The route is downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back: doable, but worth considering especially during the hottest hours.
🔑 KEYS: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION (small thing, big peace of mind)
Please remember to always take the keys with you, especially when you step out onto the veranda.
👉 If the door closes behind you, it cannot be reopened without the key.
It has happened that someone relaxed on the veranda leaving keys and phone inside… and in that case it becomes difficult to ask even us hosts for help.
✅ So: keys always in your pocket (and, if possible, your phone too) — so your holiday stays worry-free.

• the link to upload/record ID documents, required for reporting to Public Safety authorities (art. 109 TULPS / Alloggiati Web).
🚭 SMOKING:
Smoking is not allowed inside the house (including e-cigarettes). Smoke detectors are installed and may trigger the alarm.
✅ Smoking is allowed on the veranda / outdoor areas.
🩴 CLEAN YOUR FEET AFTER THE BEACH:
After returning from the beach, it is mandatory to clean your feet thoroughly before entering the house and using the stairs.
Sand on the stairs can cause slips and compromise your safety and that of neighbors.
🗑️ WASTE DISPOSAL (MANDATORY):
Recycling/sorting waste is mandatory and must follow the municipal collection calendar.
You’ll find everything in the house manual and we’ll explain it at check-in too.
🚫 Never leave trash inside the house, for any reason (even for a few hours), to avoid odors and issues.
🕗 Every evening, you must take the bins/bags outside the main gate to the residence’s collection area (you’ll find the dedicated large bins there).
📅 Please follow the calendar to dispose correctly day by day.
💧 WATER USE (BE MINDFUL):
We kindly ask you to use water responsibly, avoiding waste and unnecessary consumption.
In Sicily, water is a precious resource, especially during summer: small habits make a big difference.
🔑⚡ KEYS + POWER CARD:
The apartment’s electrical system is controlled by a power card linked to the keys.
When leaving the apartment, the card must be removed, deactivating the electricity (except for the refrigerator and kitchen appliances).
This system ensures safety and energy sustainability.
