Top 3rd floor condo with your own locked private terrace overlooking the pool. Newly remodeled kitchen (Nov 2019) and bathroom (2021) with teak cabinets and vanities.

2 bedrooms and 2 full baths with outstanding location. Located on a quiet street, just 100 meters from the beach and 50 meters away from a supermarket, its location is one of the best locations in Tamarindo. A car is not necessary since the condo is close to all the amenities of the area but offers free parking for those who rent cars.
Condo features include full kitchen, granite counter tops, walk in showers, and 24/7 security guard with key entry to the complex.
As a regional hub, Tamarindo offers a wide-range of extensive services to visitors including surfing, sport fishing, extensive tours, sunset catamarans, kayaking, swimming, and horseback riding. Tamarindo has a large variety of restaurants and bars and many are right on the beach.


This large newly remodeled condo offers all the comforts necessary to enjoy a great vacation.The most important point is its excellent location, being only 100 meters from the beach of Tamarindo, just 100 meters from the main street where there are restaurants, bars and shops, but still in a secluded area to relax and enjoy the pool and gardens.
Only 50 meters away is a supermarket, so it really is not necessary to have a car .
This apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room
The first bedroom has a queen size bed and second bedroom has two single beds.

This place was a great fit for our family of four. The beach is a one block walk from the unit, and the place is centrally located close to several restaurants and bars. The unit was comfortable and clean.

Excellent location for all things Tamarindo. The roof terrace and the balcony were both fantastic and the pool was great! So much wildlife in the trees in front of the balcony.

The condo is a great location that is close to everything. We were able to easily communicate with the owner and property manager throughout our stay. We had a small issue with the WiFI (not the owner or property manager fault) and they quickly resolved it for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Liocation

The property is less than 5 mins to beach and in center of city. It is spacious condo with additional rooftop space. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at the Balcones del Pacifico. The location is ideal! Walking distance from the beach, grocery store and restaurants. No need for a car but parking is available if you do decide to rent one. The pool is refreshing after spending the day at the beach. The property is well maintained. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Living room furniture was uncomfortable. Maintenance required: bathroom toilet seats falling off, shower heads in both bathrooms were practically plugged off, the faucets in both bathrooms were spraying water over the countertops, the faucet in the kitchen was almost falling off. There were more ants in the unit than there should have been.The unit is equipped fairly well for cooking and sufficient utensils.

Great location

The layout of the condo and location were fantastic. Finding the condo was a bit challenging. The directions were somewhat vague, perhaps due to lower proficiency in English? There are also 3 separate entrances to 3rd floor units and no info was provided as to which entrance to use, leading to us carrying all of our heavy luggage up to the 3rd floor only to realize we weren't in the correct place. The condo was clean and comfortable, with a washer in the kitchen and a dryer outside on the ground floor. A strong drawback about the condo was a horrible, overpowering odor of moth balls and cleaning solution. We had to open all the windows and leave the condo as it was unbearable. It dissipated slightly over time, but was awful.

Blast at the beach

The property was wonderful! Very convenient for anywhere we wanted to go. We didn’t even need our rental car. The only two negatives about the place, were the couch was not comfortable and the water pressure was very weak. This was completely countered by the wonderful location, full kitchen that was easy to cook in, and the space our family had for us not to feel on top of each other. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again!!

Great location in Tamarindo!

Great location and quiet too! Air conditioners worked quickly. Was nice to have a washing machine. Loved the Mercardito just down the street. Beach was a 5-10 minute walk. Well stocked kitchen. Clean pool and grounds with large palm trees with beautiful parakeets and other birds. Iguanas spotted in a nearby tree. There were some large ants in the rooms but I’m sure it is a constant battle dealing with insects in Costa Rica. Low water pressure in both showers which may be a building issue. Security and maintenance staff were nice and helpful. We loved Tamarindo and would stay at this rental again!

Vacation at the Beach

Location location location. We have spent quite a few trips in Tamarindo and this location was excellent. Close to shopping and restaurants while still being quiet at night. Pool was refreshing after a long walk on the beach. The couch could use a good cleaning and I know it is just a personal preference but we found the bed to be extremely hard. Maria was very quick to respond to any questions we had and did check in with us regularly.

Enjoyable stay

The condo was nice, clean, and comfortable although a bit dated. The exterior grounds and pool are well maintained and we met several fun couples. The location was close walking distance to groceries, restaurants, bars, and the beach, while still being quiet. We'd be happy to stay again.

Heart of Tamarindo

The location of the property is amazing. In the heart of town. 3 blocks to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The condo was really nice, just as described and pictured. Parking was a little bit of a challenge, but that was because we went at probably the busiest time of year. The building security did help us get a spot each night. I would stay here again.

Great central location to town and beach

Love Balcones as its central to downtown restaurants, bars, grocery stores and the beaches. The complex is well maintained and our property manager was very attentive to our needs. With a number of long term renters/owners in the complex, we created some fabulous long term relationships which made for a good community vib ! Coming back for sure! Pura Vida!

Amazing location

We had a fantastic stay. The pictures and description on VRBO are very accurate. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Tamarindo. We would also highly recommend the accommodations to family and friends.

Excellent property

Great communication with property manager. Property was clean and in the heart of Tamarindo. Somehow, it remained peacefully quiet at night. I would stay again in the future as well as recommend to friends and family.

Great

The condo was great for our group of 3. The kitchen is well outfitted, the pool is nice and the location is excellent, a short walk from everything but just far enough away to be quiet. The beds were comfy. Communication with the manager was quick and responsive. A couple of things to be aware of: the water was shut off from 8 pm to 6 am two of the nights we were there (out of 7 nights) and the electricity went out one night for an hour or two. Neither of these issues was the fault of the owner or manager. Five stars, we would stay here again.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay, location is amazing, place is big and clean, a/c working perfectly in all rooms, big size kitchen, nice pool, condominium staff very friendly and helpful, 24/7 security which is not really need it since Tamarindo is a very safe place.
