Snowdon & Beddgelert Adventures

We loved the fabulous location and the fact that there was plenty of space for us all. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and really well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were also really comfortable, which is always a bonus! Nothing, we would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in idyllic location

Had a great time, river at the back was very relaxing, comfy beds, bedding and towels, great fire, kitchen very well appointed - had everything we needed Extend storage heaters overnight as still cold at night in May

Overall a wonderful cottage in a lovely location. Would recommend.

The garden with the flowing river. Nice seating areas. Very stylish and comfortable interior. Well organised spaces with everything we needed. Handy key safe right by the door.

A brilliant cottage, full of extras and located in such a good position.

Such a brilliant cottage, full of extras and located in such a good position. Weather has been fantastic throughout the stay. Climbed Snowdon twice, Swallow Falls, Rhosneigr Beach and Betswy-Coed and lots nice food! Thank you for a very relaxing stay!

A lovely cottage

A lovely cottage. Kitchen very well equipped. Having rivers at bottom of garden was beautiful. Lovely area to explore with walks, waterfalls, hills and valleys. Picked up fish and chips in Porthmadog and drove to Black Rock Sands to eat them – couldn’t believe you could drive onto beach! Lots of other hidden gems to be found.

Such a lovely cottage and so very comfortable.

We’ve all thoroughly enjoyed our week in Beddgelert, which is wonderfully picturesque nestled among the mountains. Makes a great base for many local hikes and for the proximity to Portmeirion, the start of the Watkin Path up Yr Wyddfa, which we all conquered in glorious weather. There was nothing better after a long day in the mountains than relaxing with an ice-cold drink in the back garden watching the river flow and spotting wildlife. Dinner at Hebog and the Beddgelert ice cream were fantastic. Great memories to cherish. Thanks for a superb stay! The Brown Family.

We have had a brilliant stay here and our kids + dog enjoyed cooling down in the river

We have had a brilliant stay here and our kids + dog enjoyed cooling down in the river. We have enjoyed spending time in the village, a boat trip from Anglesey, paddleboarding in Llanberis and a trip to King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Pretty sure we have tried every flavour of ice cream in Beddgelert. We have loved being in the house, it is so well equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. Thanks!

We have stayed for the Easter weekend (mum +3 boys) Weather hasn't been great, Storm Dave! But we were cosy. We enjoyed biking and ice creams in the village.

We have been visiting Beddgelert for many, many years, camping as a child, camping with our own children. Now celebrating a child’s birthday with our own children? No, actually, this seems to read: “We have been visiting Beddgelert for many many years, camping as a child, camping with our own children. Now today it’s a little more comfortable, and we have certainly enjoyed it here! What a lovely stay, including cottage with wonderful wildlife and the river. The scenery and walking around here is amazing and we are surprised [by] the lovely stay. We will be back.” Lovely, thank you, Heather & Casper

Clean, homely and beautifully presented

We had a very comfortable stay her in Riverstone Cottage. It was clean, homely and beautifully decorated. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided. We were lucky to enjoy some very sunny days and the stunning views made our stay even more special. Watching and listening to the sound of the running river at the bottom of the garden was truly the cherry on the cake! We will certainly return! Many thanks.

Comfortable home that is an excellent base for beautiful walks.

Beautiful house equipped with every convenience, including a washing machine with built-in dryer, a bathtub, and a large fridge-freezer combination. The back garden borders a stream and has views of the mountains. It was wonderful to fall asleep in the evening to the sound of the stream. It is also an excellent base for a variety of beautiful walking routes. Some start in the village itself, while others require a 5–20 minute drive. Tip: find the path that climbs the mountain you can see from the back garden and continue walking for 20–30 minutes. You’ll arrive in a stunning natural area that is not listed as a popular hiking route. There’s a 360-degree panoramic view, and you can walk around for an hour without encountering anyone.

Riverstone Cottage.

The location and river running down the back garden. The key box at the door was not working. After spending about 10 mins trying to open it and getting very anxious as we arrived late at night, we discovered another key box hidden in wall. Old one could easily be removed or better communications around this. Also there was a lot of stacked up recycling rubbish in back garden that looked liked it was there for months, very off putting when you first open the back door. There was also old dog poo in small bit of grass in garden. Windows in need to painting to improve overall appearance of house.
