Cozy 1 bedroom apartment in our home has beautiful mountain views and is close to many ski resorts. Please note that itā€™s a small apartment and would be very tight for 4 adults for a longer stay. Extra charges apply for more than 2 guests. It is located only 5 minutes from Keystone Resort in a quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes to Arapahoe Basin, and 20-25 minutes to Breckenridge and Copper Mountain. This unit has a separate entrance with a parking spot in the driveway for an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and a level parking spot 30 feet past the driveway for a non-4WD vehicle. This comfortable unit offers a queen size bed in the bedroom and a queen size pullout couch in the front room.
A kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and the induction cooking plate is great for cooking meals. Crock pot and Ninja ā€œpizza ovenā€ available on request. There is a toaster, coffee maker and cookware along with plenty of plates, glasses, flatware and most necessary kitchen items. The front room has the kitchenette, dining area table that seats 4, and couch with coffee and end tables. There is a bathroom in the unit with a small shower, toilet and vanity. A quaint walkway leads from the parking area to the private entrance and spacious patio.
A 15 minutes' walk (approx. 1mile) will take you to the closest bus stop for the free Summit Stage bus system that can take you all over the County. Uber and Lyft services also are available for transportation needs but unfortunately are not too reliable yet in this area. It is highly recommended that you have your own AWD vehicle.
In the summertime you can ride your bike on numerous mountain bike and road bike trails that are very near the house. Plenty of hiking trails in the area can be accessed for all abilities, and in the winter can be snowshoed or you can cross country ski. Several Nordic ski areas are nearby offering groomed trails. Ther are so many options to explore this beautiful area. Come for a visit!

Great Location

Perfect location for skiing Keystone or Breck. Clean, comfy and I felt very safe. Quiet neighborhood and the host was great. Wonderful place to stay for a smaller group.

Had a great stay at this property - basement apartment with private entrance was exactly what we were looking for during our winter stay. Much better than a hotel room for 3+ nights. Property had everything we needed, and the host went out of their way to ensure any additional needs were met!

The location of the apartment was great for our group. It was close to keystone and A-basin. It was a nice setup and had everything we needed. Dean was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. Would highly recommend

No regrets!

Great setup, great location, and great hosts. My husband and adult son enjoyed skiing while I enjoyed touring the nearby towns. It snowed overnight, and Dean had the sidewalk and driveway shoveled before 7am. We definitely recommend!

Clean and cozy

Stayed here with 3 other adults. As described, the space is compact but we had no issues with the space for our short trip. I was not used to meeting the property owner during check in, but it was nice to talk to Dean and get an overview of the housing and the ways we could make it more comfortable with the heater + humidifier he provided.

Great location and place to stay for snowboarding!

We had a great month long working vacation at this property. It's close to multiple resorts in the area, including Keystone just 5-10 mins away. We also hit Breckenridge (20 mins), Vail (45), and Beaver creek (1 hour). Dean is a great host who always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. He definitely went above and beyond. The place is cozy and felt like home by the end of our trip! As long as you can get creative with a hot plate and microwave the place is a perfect place to stay for a short or long trip!

Keystone ski trip stay

Property was very clean and Dean provided excellent directions and communication for check in and throughout the stay. Dean made sure the snow was cleared from the path to the unit and that the driveway was also cleared so as to easily get the car out early in the morning. Communication was always prompt and the unit provided everything needed at a fair and affordable price with very convenient access to Keystone and Breckenridge. I would most certainly stay here again in the future.

Great location for winter activities

Enjoyed my stay at this location. Dean and Paula are wonderful hosts, great communication, supportive, even cleaned the snow off the car windows. This is a wonderful location for winter activities with cross country ski trails, many ski resorts as well as the Dillon Reservoir near by. The view from the main living area is very nice with lots of sun potential. Brought my own All-Clad Teflon coated 10 inch pan which worked well with the induction cooktop. It was a perfect size living space for me and my winter gear. I would definitely recommend and consider staying here in the future.

Great spot and great place

Had everything we needed. Very comfortable. Responsive host. The shower is tiny and the bathroom was a barn door so not much privacy if staying with friends - just a note for those not staying with a partner. There are a few discrepancies from the listing and communication that I'll share with the host and can be fixed. Host was responsive and we are easy going so wasn't a major issue. Would stay here again.

Great location, perfect place.

I stayed for several weeks to work remotely and ski on the weekends. The apartment is in a great location, close to restaurants, hiking trails, look out points and ski resorts (Keystone, Breckenridge and A basin). I was able to have a few guests while there. It was very clean when I arrived. The owner, Dean, let me swap out towels and sheets when needed and he kept the snow cleared from the sidewalks and driveway. The little things in the apartment like extra hooks, hangers, water filter, and humidifier were nice adds and reduced the things I had to bring with me.

Exactly what you need and nothing you don't

Dean makes sure you have what you need. It's very clean and functional. I went with my teenage son. He got the main bedroom and I used the fold out couch which worked out well. If the bed is put away in the morning and things kept cleaned and organized it is a very comfortable place to be. It is perfect for two adults or a small family. If you read the description and reviews you'll know exactly what you're getting. Would/will stay again.

Perfect Location and Great Host

We planned a family ski/snowboard trip to Keystone Resort. Dean's place is 11 minutes from the mountain. It could not have worked out better. His place is in a nice community just around the corner. We had a parking spot on the driveway with private access to our apartment and amazing view. My wife and daughter shared the main bedroom and me and my son slept on the fold out couch bed. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, small oven for pizzas, hot plate, coffee maker... all good. Dean actually shoveled the snow every morning before we headed to the slopes. Gave us advice on where to find local sledding hills, restaurants, etc. It was great that when my son was done skiing at 2, I could take him back to the house and wait for my wife to text me when to pick her up later, only a ten minute drive down the road. Also a great coffee and pizza spot on the corner of his neighborhood, wish we discovered that earlier for breakfast. It was a great experience and a great price, we were lucky to find this place. If we come back we'll be staying at Dean's!

Small Condo in a Walkout Home with Its Own Separate Entrance

Dean went above and beyond in ensuring a comfortable stay by reaching out even before getting to Dillon. The rental was very clean and organized, with extra supplies and pantry items. The floor remodelling is recent and amenities are modern. Kitchen has a microwave and a separate hot plate, but no stove with under the counter fridge that was suitable for us. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, glasses, mugs and pans, etc. Dean responded quickly to all questions. The security was comforting and the location relative to the slopes was also convenient (5 miles or so from the River Run gondola). This property is a great value and it is clear that the owners take great care in providing a positive experience. Recommend it and plan to use again in the future as the hosts constantly improve it and hope they add a second TV to the bedroom to allow watch different program from the TV in the living room. P. S. I drove with minivan from Chicago and had chains that we did not use as the winter storm moved to the East and we had only few inches. The hosts have a second spot at the road level, which is flat and we parked there to avoid slippery conditions on the drive way, which has some incline and might require winter tires or all-wheel drive in slippery conditions.

This is a quiet neighborhood where you can escape the hubub of all the activities in the surrounding area. Easy access to winter and summer activities abound with mountain bike and road bike trails only a couple minutes away. There are awesome views from this unit of the surrounding mountains and gorgeous sunsets. Occasional wildlife wander through the property including moose, elk, deer, foxes, coyotes, etc. Keystone Resort is a 5-minute drive away and offers skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and a tubing hill in the winter, and biking, gondola and horseback rides, golfing and fishing in the summer. Lake Dillon is also only minutes away with a marina offering sailboat and powerboat rentals, as well as kayaks, canoes and SUPs. Or maybe you just want to sit back and enjoy our 300+ days of sunshine a year! This unit allows you to enjoy our area all four seasons of the year.
