The Swaledale is a fantastic shepherd’s hut with a twist – not only does it feature an en-suite shower room, it also boasts a garden and a hot tub for that much-needed warmth and comfort in the evenings. With the owners living adjacent and the site being on a working farm surrounded by fields and hills gently rolling down towards the sea, The Swaledale promises a holiday like no other. A welcome addition to our ’flock’ of luxury accommodation has been the ’Lambing Shed’, a large and airy rustic kitchen/dinining room. Your home away from home, it provides everything you could need, and has all the facilities for you to cook a ’full English.’ The hand built kitchen is fitted with a tumble dryer, fridge and a cooking range for you to prepare the perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner. For the budding master chefs, we have an outdoor pizza oven to cook their fabulous creations in and wow fellow diners. The dining area has tables and crockery and should you forget any essentials, our new ’corner shop’ has basics and treats to buy, saving you a trip out to the shops.There’s so much to see and do in the area, including Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Flamborough Head just a short drive away. After a long day’s walk or cycle, you can relax in the hot tub with the stars above and a glass of bubbly in hand – now that’s how to unwind! Beach 5 miles. Shop on-site, pub ¼ mile, restaurant 4 miles. The Swaledale can be booked together with The Lincoln Longwool (UK2065) and The Blue Texel (UK2066) to accommodate up to 6 guests.
