There was a miscommunication with the cleaning staff so the place was not fully cleaned when we checked in. The owner gave us a credit, otherwise it was overall clean and in good shape. We enjoyed our stay with our dogs with us. There is a fenced in back yard which is nice and Marshview park is close walking distance with nice paths, creek and lots of shade. It is 1.5 mile walk to the beach. The owner kept in touch and wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay.

I had the best family vacation! The house was amazing and exactly like the photos, I will say that the house was bigger than it seemed and the bedrooms are huge, everything immaculate and clean. The pool I had called and it’s a couple hours on Saturday available and we never made it there they had maintenance and this but I don’t fault the homeowner and the Virginia Beach everything was great! It’s maybe 1 mile and half from beach, stores, Walmart, the aquarium and boat tours the location is worth it alone. And I had great contact with the host but only because I reached out a couple times otherwise didn’t hear a peep or have any issues it’s definitely a yearly vacation maybe twice truly!

Great location and comfortable home

We just returned home from our weekend stay at this home and enjoyed it very much. The owner Chris was very present and made sure we were enjoying our stay and all was as it should be upon our arrival! I would definitely recommend this home and rent again as well during our next stay in Va beach.

Family vacation

Great stay at a great property. Our host was very attentive and the house was perfect to relax in after a busy day. The fenced in yard is great for pets. The bedrooms are a good size and both bathrooms are spacious. Would definitely recommend!

Very convenient

I am retired military it was nice an convenient to all the bases. And also close to my daughters home. She is the reason we came to see our new granddaughter. It was nice for our dog as well the back yard was great.

Great Location

Everything is a short drive away. The neighborhood is nice and quite. You do hear the planes from the military base which is very close. The back yard is very nice. It was so enjoyable to have this private house to come to after going to the beach or all the other attractions in the area.

Great location and property

We had a great stay. We felt comfortable walking in the neighborhood and to the sports complex. The house is well situated - we were able to walk to the beach and it would have been an easy bike ride. The house was a good fit for our family and the fenced in back yard was a bonus. We spent very little time at the house, but it had everything we needed. The kids loved the snacks!

Enjoying the Ocean Beach

For our kids, it was their first time to see and swim in an ocean beach. The house was the right place to be. We are more them satisfied and would repeat and recommand the house and locality. The owner was very caring and really nice. We selpt well, cooked well and enjoyed very much our stay. Thank you Chris!

Great location, nice property, clean house with plenty of space for family within about a mile of the beach. Plastic mattress covers on the beds make sleeping really hot for ladies of a certain age and the kitchen could use some updates for folks who plan to cook. Two burners on the stove were unusable and host did not seem very inclined to assist with correcting the issue while we were there. We purchased large spoons, some bowls and borrowed a baking pan for the oven. The house has an interesting layout and accessing the outdoor space (which has no shade) is either through a bedroom or around the side of the house. It is not adjacent to the kitchen. Perhaps we were spoiled by VRBO past experience, but we were disappointed in the availability of items for the beach and a sufficient supply of towels. Thankfully, we had prepared in advance and brought our own. All in all it served our needs for the week and was a clean place to lay our heads.

Great house for biking to beach. Good price.

We had a great week at the nice clean home. Enjoyed riding bikes (our own) 1.3 miles along a major bike trail to the boardwalk. We had 4 adults and 5 kids ages 4-9. We brought an air mattress with us for the 9th person. Everything was clean. Owner was welcoming. Was nice to have a couple boogie boards to borrow. Gas grill and fire pit are nice options in the backyard. We were really happy at this house! A few little things that would be nice to add are black out shades, couple more seating options in living room, big pot, a few stir spoons, and a few games. Great stay. Thanks so much.

Not worth the money

Owner was very friendly and responded quickly. Unfortunately the house had many things broken items The kitchen was not well stocked w needed utensils plates etc. There were no dressers in bedrooms to put clothing. The grill was in poor condition so we did not use The backyard was not as clean as pictured. You had to wash/dry their towels before leaving and start the washer w linens

Everything it was described as in listing

Recently, I rented this house for two weeks while my grandson and wife were expecting the birth of their second child. Our days were spent running errands and involved in family events, but this house provided comfortable sleeping accommodations for me, my canine companion, and other visiting family members at night. The property manager, Christea, was a joy to work with, and the fenced backyard was a super place for my dog to run off some energy. Also, a well stocked supermarket was less less than a mile away.

Nice Group Getaway

We had a nice weekend here with a group of friends and our infant son. The backyard and deck were wonderful for hanging out together for a relaxing getaway. Our group rode bikes to the beach, and the bike path on Norfolk Ave is just a block away.

Perfect Place to Stay

Our stay was lovely. There were snacks, juices, and water upon our arrival which was a nice treat. The place was a nice location. About a 30 minute walk to the boardwalk which was perfect for giving our dog a nice long walk. Will check out this place again if I’m ever in the area.

We had great time staying this house. Beach is two minutes drive which is very convenient for us. Chris was amazing as a host, regularly checking in with us if we need anything. We will definitely book this house in future.

Great Vacation!!!

Overall we all enjoy the home it felt very calming and comfortable. We could ho every where and be back within 20 minutes. We felt completely at home this was wonderful. If we go back to Virginia beach again this is the first place I'm looking into.

Chris was AMAZING as a host. Checking in with us periodically to make sure everything was to our standards and per the listing as stated. Location was perfect. We will definitely keep this listing on our 'list' when returning to VB.
