We're open. Welcome to "Good Times & Tan Lines". We love our SD home and are so excited to be able to make it a perfect vacation getaway. This 4 bedroom home is well suited for families or several couples. It is close to everything in San Diego - but no need to leave, as you can enjoy the pool and custom built in Hot-tub in the backyard. New Trex Deck as of Dec 2020. There are many nearby dining and shopping options too.
The Space;
This spacious 4-bedroom home is centrally located in a quiet Clairemont neighborhood. This house is comfortable, clean and has so many awesome features - it is a must visit! The large master bedroom has a KING sized bed and a view of the pool. It also has two large closets and an updated en suite with dual sinks and natural rock shower. On the other side of the house, separated by the living room, family room and kitchen you will find the other 3 bedrooms and common area bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed, Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with a full size on the bottom and twin on top and Bedroom 4 has a queen sized bed. There is also a queen sized sleeper bed in the living room But better than that is a hideaway bed stored in the master closet. This homes features hardwood flooring, granite counters, updated appliances, and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, dishwasher, refrigerator & lots of natural light. It is fully stocked with plates, utensils, small appliances, bar ware, etc. If you plan to do any cooking or baking during your stay, this kitchen will not disappoint. ★ Other perks ★ washer/dryer, tons of storage, plenty of parking, close to freeways, shopping centers, and only 6 miles from the beach. Please note, we do require all guests sign a short term rental agreement and pool liability waiver.
We have Air Conditioning! Now with San Diego's near perfect climate it won't be needed much but it's be there as an option for the summer months. AC is in mini splash and we have five indoor units. All bedrooms and one in the sitting room.

This house has a wonderful location, being about 15 mins from anything. It's in a residential area which is nice, but we could walk to a grocery and liquor store. The pool and hot tub were nice, though the pool was too cold for all but the little kids. There are also TVs in every bedroom and the living area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room and stocked with all of the essentials needed, and included snacks and drinks for when we arrived. There were all kinds of games and puzzles which the kids enjoyed. Steven was always easily accessible if I had a question. The location is fairly central to all of San Diego’s highlights.

This house is in a fantastic location. It was close to everything. Most comfortable (in addition to the spacious layout of the house) was the safety felt in the neighborhood. While coming and going, we'd catch someone on a walk, or out in their yard, and a friendly wave would be offered. It made for a very comfortable stay as a family with children. The owners are great communicators, making sure you have everything you need and expressing willingness to be contacted with any need. Great stay overall.

Everything was wonderful! Lots of space and little things that made this feel like home during our stay. The host was also very responsive and helpful. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The pool and hot tub were especially nice after long days sightseeing!!!

The house was spacious and not far from eating places as well as the major sights we wanted to see. The owner was very easy to communicate with. It was cold while we were there so we did not use the pool or hot tub. Kitchen was well-equipped and bed linens were nice. The beds were comfy, too. Heating units in each room kept us warm.

Great property with fabulous amenities, the pool and hot tub was fabulous, with the indoor space generous and very comfortable. The Air Conditioning was particularly appreciated as it was hot and this kept the key areas lovely and cool. Ideal for a family of mixed ages, with lots to do and in a good location, easily able to get Downtown in about 15-20 mins... Would love to come back.

Great location to all the fabulous and fun things to do in San Diego. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 kids. Nice big table so we could eat together as a family. And spaces big enough to enjoy movies, the pool and hot tub without feeling like we were on top of each other. Kitchen had everything we needed - and more! We appreciated the washer/dryer, too.

We were an extended family of six visiting the area for a family wedding. This home was perfect for our needs. With 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, washer & dryer, we had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Every night we enjoyed the covered patio and pool. The house is conveniently located to all attractions in the San Diego area and an easy day trip to Disneyland.

Great space for family

My family and I had a great time at this house, everything was clean and stocked with everything you need. The outdoor space with the pool, grill, fire pit and hot tub is what takes the cake!! We will be back.

This house has been a labor of love. Lived here until 2014. At which point I moved to Northern California, Sacramento. I, Steven run the VRBO and take great pride in hosting.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We purchased this property due to it's quiet but central location. We love being minutes the beach, downtown, but also from our jobs. We have since moved, but you can now avail of our great place. This is our one and only VRBO. We love to come and visit and set it up like a home. Expect to find all you need here.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The living area including the kitchen and dining room is a great open space which is great for large family dinners. Huge new hard wood Dining table suitable for parties of 10. The outdoor space as you can probably see from the pictures was a labor of love. It's the perfect outdoor setting for a San Diego Vacation.
Hot tub - Relax and unwind in our new addition of of 2020. All new flooring in May 2023.
Finally, it's a great location central to everything San Diego. There will be a couple of reasons why you will love to stay with us but allow us to give a couple of suggestions too on best things to do in San Diego.
Cycle the bay, Visit Coranado island and cycle around it, Swim in La Jolla Cove, visit our local Thai restaurant, visit the best restaurant in San Diego, in California, in the US? "Costa Brava". And then for something different, do what we did, visit Sunset cliffs and have a picnic or better still bring one of the folding tables we will have for you to set yourself up for a unique dining experience off the beaten path. All the details are in our guest book. See our pictures for what we did.
